    Thanks for the very informative video on worms, I have alot of adult working dogs in my care especially Shepards and Mastiffs. How often should I deworm them?

      Good morning Augustine Krau, we recommend to dewom once every 6 months as preventative. Sheryl at Revival.

      Good morning Pragati Amatya, Albendazole isn't usually used as a routine dewormer. It's often used for uncommon infections. In cats/dogs albendazole can be used to treat Paragonimus kellicotti infections. Paragonimus kellicotti is a type of trematode (fluke). We recommend using Safeguard or Pancur, both have the active ingredient: fenbendazole and Pyrantel. Sheryl at Revival.

    Can dogs recover from hook worms ?

    • @RevivalAnimal
      @RevivalAnimal  2 роки тому +1

      Melanie, A dog's recovery time from hookworms will depend on your dog's age, overall health, and the severity of the infection. It's very important to deworm on regularly scheduled time. There is a cure for hookworms. Dewormers and monthly preventatives can not only cure hookworms but also eliminate the risk of future infections. Sheryl at Revival.
