The situation in Ghana is Shameful. Let's blame each other and leave the problem (NPP & NDC). When they talk about the economy, they make the economist talk about it but when they talk about Electricity they make people with no clue on how Electrical energy is produced, Transmitted and Distributed in our country talk about it. For those of us who are Energy Specialist both in Ghana and abroad, nothing is needed from us but rather people with no idea of Ghana energy needs and issues are the once who get talk about it. Both NDC and NPP have Electrical engineers and they are not the once talking on these critical energy issues. How on earth can you solve Electrical demand problems without building or installing a single power plant in 8years?. The party who built or installed most of these power plants is still tagged with "dumsor". We are sick in Ghana because of politics. Before 2016 the Energy problems was "a generation deficit" which was solved!!!. So for eight years what did NPP government do to solve the "Transmission and Distribution" issues?. As a country, if we don't learn to fire/sack people for non performance in any sector of our economy, then let's forget it we are doomed forever!!!.
Are we okay in this Country? How dare you compare NPP to NDC in terms of power supply? Who provided the Infrastructure for the constant power supply we are having now? How much extra Megawatts of power has NPP added in the past 8 years. Didn't they complain that the NDC had procured so much power than we needed? Then where does comparison come in here. Was the USLA not put in place to pay for legacy debts what happened to that Fund? Nansins. 😡

Mr host, quote the President well. He did not say the economy is broke, he said Ghana is not broke and he backed that up by saying BoG has reserves of nearly 8 billion dollars. That is different from cost of leaving.

Why is NPP so adamant? Ghanaians have spoken. The GDP of Ghana in 2008 was $28B by 2016, it was doubled to $56B. NPP took it from 56B and added only 20B and they are saying they've done well? Our journalists are very weak and don't challenge these figures. We have a reserve of 8B dollars because we are not servicing our debts since we declared bankruptcy in 2023. Let's be real and stop the nonsense of doing politics on everything!
