My cat does this to me every morning. If I'm not awake by a certain time, he starts loudly meowing in the hallway so I stand up. My door isn't closed or anything, he just does it in the hallway so I have to get off my bed to check on him. As soon as I stand, he comes into my room and flops on the carpet. I have no idea why he started doing this at a certain time because I've never had an alarm for the time I've had him.
Did that Kitty open the blinds?
To be fair if cats or dogs could get their own food breakfast lunch and dinner then they wouldn't disturb us early hours of the morning
I don't think so. At least, for dogs. My dog always wakes me up every 8am even if I don't feed him at that time. He does not whine or anything like he's hungry. He's just happy to see me up and awake.

Not at all. My cat always had his bowl full and he would always visit me several times in the night and meow in the morning... Same thing with my other cats before him.
Nope, they don't wake you up because they need food, it's because they prefer companionship & affection. Unlike humans, animals aren't self-absorbed.

Would love to be woken up like this. My fucking cat start screaming her heart out to wake me up, then proceeds to climb into bed under the covers once i wake up. Havent slept a full night in so many years 🤣

When my clock radio goes off, sometimes my cat will press the snooze button. Probably because she doesn't like my station but at least I can get a few extra minutes of sleep. She's such a good kitty!

I Allowed my sister in-law to rescue a pregnant Calico. After my brother and his wife
moved out I used to leave a ' Sliding Window ' Open about 8" ( 250 mm ) and ' Cats '
being Nocturnal Animals she would come in, @ 5:30 A.M., in the Morning and " Howl "
for food !
After a few days of This, I took an Empty Paper Towel Roll and was Ready for her .
That Next Morning she came in @ 5:30 A.M and Started Howling And I Woke-Up And
Gave her a " Good Walloping " ! And got up and Fed her .
The Next Morning, I Woke-Up and found That Cat Quietly Sitting there, So as a Reward
I Got up and Put food out for her !
These are so gentle.. my manager’s cat believes asphyxiation is the best method by sitting on his face as he sleeps

My mom had a cat that would stick his paw in her hair & twist them pull!!. This worked bc my mom hair was super curly & it would inevitably get tangled in the paw, that's how he woke her up every morning at 7 w/o fail. He wanted his breakfast.
