Brilliant coverage Josh. It makes such a difference having it covered by someone who has been there, multiple times, and knows everything from the INSIDE 😁😁
Really cool format for updates! The video segments are a nice touch... even when upside down. 😊 The 2019 race's bad weather "slumber party" at Brush Mountain is what got me hooked on this race. I know that coverage got Lael bogged down in some social media drama, but that video along with your Mason/Hunt video was really well done and gave those of us, who only dream of this sort of challenge, a chance to experience it in a very real, visceral way. I've been following you ever since. Thanks Josh.
Thanks for the update, Josh. Heard from my mates out there that the rainy weather and heavy cloud cover at times seemed to be causing a few trackers to update only intermittently.
Looking at morning time. Justinas beating everyone to the US border and having 15 miles at least on Ulrich but than what appears to be stuck at the crossing while Ulrich already in US must be brutal
Who cares about the leaders I am watching Mira La Perra John and his dog Mira!!! The leaders win and lose all the time the rookies are the true hero's of this race!!
Yeah thats the main theme running through these races, the real stories happen right at the back. Unfortunately, its human nature to focus on those leading. Perhaps Josh can read this and perhaps dip into action at the rear every now and again during coverage to see whats unfolding. =)

Thanks! Just what I wanted for this years TD.
Thanks Josh. This brings back memories for us Brits from last year.
Thanks for doing this, fascinating to have your insight!
I am totally jealous of these riders at the same time I wish them the very best.

Great format like the video clips so we can see what its like ,this year I am following a mate on the race makes it more interesting.
Great video! Thanks so much.
Thank you! Don’t forget Mira le Pera!
The most impressive team out on the route for sure.
I hope their ride is well documented by someone and we get to watch it at some point.
Will do some updates… do you have their Instagram name? struggling to find them

Thanks so much. Great explanations of race strategy and course conditions. Looking forward to the next one.
Interesting to get news of Joe Nation (kiwi rookie, rides the EWS) he slept for over 6 hours on the first night and yet he's only 60 miles behind!
Yep he’s definitely one to watch so I’ll be updating on him
This is exactly the kind of coverage we need for this race, thank you!!
Thanks for the update, Josh.

Thanks for making these videos! True joy to learn!
Showing the terrain through your videos is 👌👌
Thanks for the great coverage!
You’re like one-man GCN but with more interesting content (Kidding). Great coverage!
Could you tell us how to analyze the Northbound rider pace and their relevance
Love the coverage and detailed report! 👍
Awesome coverage!👍👍
Brilliant vid man.
Cool. Thanks for the update. Just a heads up that your beard is causing some audio interference rubbing up against the mic. . 🙌🏼
Thanks, yes I was aware…. New mic is on its way!!
Thanks for this!!

Great video andThank you
Thank you.
Think you your time and up date from Alaska
Looks a competitive lineup , lots of riders from around world
Enjoying your coverage of this race! From someone who has ridden it! I always wonder how much these guys actually sleep.
4-5 hours or less?
Hi Lydia... yes the winner usually averages 4-5hours a night
Cool update from one who knows. Keep ‘em coming. Just curious - why did you pass this year on it?
Life happened!
Why do the lines all flatten a bit around 8 hours in? Big hill or tricky conditions?
That will be coco claims the hike a bike which takes about an hour or so

2016 for Mike’s record?
Yep it was 2016… brain and mouth we not communicating properly!
No worries… loving the coverage of these races 👍
why are you advertising Lard as a cycling food - lol
The first guy has already a +/-200 miles lead On everyone... Damn the guy is flying
Mira and John. May not be the fastest. They are the best.
You need to stop saying, umm, I can’t listen to it anymore.
Uum sorry about that
@@joshibbett it makes you sound stupid, just saying is all.

Yep I will do, once the race spreads out a bit and more stories start emerging I'll make sure to focus on the whole spread of riders where I can
