This is definitely the best planned area in the entire Gulf. Pedestrian-oriented, mix of office/residential/commercial, insanely beautiful architecture, tram tracks! The video quality is also excellent and covered different parts of the downtown. I loved it!
I agree that the planning in the area shown looks pretty good. 3 things that caught my eye; 1. Not a lot of outdoor sitting arrangements from restaurants/cafes to incentives more life on streets 2. All buildings look very similar, a more diverse style of architecture or even color would instantly make the place lot more interesting. This would then include "landmark" buildings like how you might see a special building that would be something to visit 3. Lack of parks/green areas

@@qibbou1 I believe you're trying to tell me that Qatar mainly exports gas. However, Qatar also exports a significant amount of oil. To put this into perspective: Qatar exports more oil in a year than an industrial nation like France consumes. Nevertheless, thank you for your suggestion.
Don’t worry - a solid leadership in good times will still be a solid leadership difficult times. There are many countries that are affluent in gas / natural resources / exports and don’t share that wealth with their population. Qatar is an example on how it gives value to its people, many countries could learn from them.
C’est triste l’ambiance est triste il n y a même pas d’ambiance. Rien à regarder on comprend ce qui retient les gens là bas l’Argent sans el filous se personne n’habitera au Qatar même pas les klebs

What a lovely, pedestrian & bike friendly City. Truly Doha is The Place to be.
I never been to doha but from my observation on this video it looks beautiful good architecture, clean and safe more than some cities in USA.
Doha is the 3rd safest capital in the world, I don't see any comparison here
I bet its safer than ALL US cities.. americans live in a bubble, delusional 😅
It's safer than any city in the USA by far.
Entire Doha should be like Msheireb, walkable filled with shades trees public transport trams and narrow streets.
It's so nice to be able to explore such an amazing place.
Thank you for sharing!❤
❤️
Qatar looks like paradise... its ruler could teach some lesson to western leaders about how to keep a city safe and clean... congrats to his highness!

😂😂😂
Seems artificial
Do they need to add rats in the streets to make it more "natural"?
@@qibbou1 you killed me😂😂😂
It will only become interesting when the oil money is no longer there. That's when we will see how much substance lies behind the appearance.
Qatar doesn't have oil, it has gas.
