A great asset to trimming heavy horse feet is a set of drafthorse sized "Budnippers." Force multiplying hoof nippers that go through the thickest, dryest draft horse horn with ease. Multiplies your force 13 times. Out of Idaho.

Would like to see how you are securing the straps on the stock

Unfortunately you can never pick their feet out and God help you if he gets an abcess or steps on a nail....wow...thrush must be a real problem too....

Should of had the camera 🎥 over a little bit farther so you can get a better view.

Hello, I have a quarterhorse that is horrible with his back feet. We have tried multiple different kinds of sedatives and he'll still try to kick no matter what we use on him. I saw this videos and was wondering if you had ever tried using stocks on a kicking horse and if the stocks hold up and can keep the horse safe if they did try to start kicking. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the demonstration. Are those straps specifically designed for the horses foot or are they re-purposed?

    Hello again my friend
I'll start with the kids love the new opening picture and the horses, a couple of years ago, we went to a 600 acre horse breeding farm, and they were lucky enough to ride on the plough pulled by Clydesdales and the hay turning machine, and sat for a couple of hours watching the Farrier at work, they also used the leg tie, totally harmless and definitely needed, they also explained the reasoning for it and that the horses were trained for shoeing and really didn't mind, and feet cleaning and tidying, anyway great video, kids loved it, catch up on the next one, until then, love to the family, stay safe,
