What did you think of the ride? Have you ridden in Japan before? What else do you want to see or try?

Thanks for the video! It made me feel so nostalgic. I lived in Japan for a few years in the 90's. I never knew what the law was, but it made me think that cars are automatically at fault if they hit a bike because that's the way everyone reacted when I (or anybody I knew) had collisions with a car. Luckily in both of my collisions, I was completely unscathed - not even a bruise or scrape, but the people who ran in to me went REALLY far out of their way to make sure I was not hurt and to get my bike fixed. One of the times, the guy who hit me gave me and my friend a ride home after the crash and even brought me a gift basket of fine confectioneries about a week later just to check on me and make sure I was still uninjured.

Thanks for the video/info! Was a bit nervous about biking around the lake, but it seems pretty straightforward

Does the bike come with lock? If not, is it safe to leave the bike unattended at pit stops? Are there places to park bikes?

They don't come with locks nor helmets.... I think generally if you place them out of the way you won't hear any complaints or any issues in this area!

Thanks for the question! Depends if you're in a metro area or countryside like in the video. In Metro areas, there are usually more designated areas and rules you might need to follow. For more rural, I think basically if it's out of the way most people don't mind. Theft is not an issue at all so a simple wheel lock will suffice.
