The video explains how a uniform circular motion can be represented as a simple harmonic motion. The particle P is undergoing a uniform circular motion. Two perpendicular axes are drawn taking the center of the circular path as the origin. The projection of the position of the particle on the vertical diameter of the circle oscillates about its center. These oscillations trace out a sinusoidal curve in the position time graph. The position of the particle at any instant is given by the equation y(t) = A sin(ωt + Ø). Where, A is the radius of the circle which is also the amplitude of the simple harmonic motion; ω is the angular velocity of the particle and Ø is the angular position of the particle at time t = 0.
Wrong explanation
Very easy to understand this 🥹
nice but needs explanation
so can we conclude that a body describing uniform circular motion also is in shm?
Yes
Nice
Please update your knowledge I am sorry but it's true
Excellent thank you
