Any idea what's causing the corrosion? It looks similar to what builds up around battery terminals.

You made it harder by not removing the screw on the driver's side.

dissimilar corrosion, I'd bet the mount bolts are of a different type metal than the bracket .

That corrosion may also be from water or other liquids that werent cleaned up, but I dont know the history of that car in the video, but looks like it may be from water somehow.
