    Excellent timing for the video, Antasil
    Now if I may nitpick, with the spirits rework Professional Officer Corps is basically useless. You could spend the first 35XP on Proper Heritage to buff your cavalry and get to design the template for free. With the other cavalry buffs the Mapuche have in their focus tree horsies become a surprisingly good proposition against Argentina and even later into the game

      Good point! Always free to nitpick!

      Tactical Chibi has a good video on it, as well as good videos on other achievements and world conquests

    No idea what changed, but as a matter of fact the Ibanez armies not only moved, but ended up encircling me due to your frontline ideas.

      I tried that civil war second time, lost again, no clue what's wrong. I never had problems with this civil war, until I decided to follow this guide (nothing against you, just been on 3 days playing this shitty achievement, and I'm beyond frustrated)

    When I got the Mapuche Brazil achievement I did it in a very similar way to you (ie taking out Argentina then Brazil then the allies) but I didn't and still don't know exactly how the mechanic of annexing puppets as cores works with mapuche chile, I was under the impression that if you were to complete the focus before controlling all the puppets then you couldn't core anymore of the land but maybe I'm wrong. So I just kept it all as annexed land, apart from Brazil who I kept as a puppet to steal their manpower, with the high compliance it wasn't really a problem, you just have the take out south and central America, after which the US should be a pretty easy job, especially with compliance governments. One thing to watch out for that you didn't mention is the fact that there are some small island states in the pacific that you need for some of the puppet decisions, so just make sure to find out which islands yoi need, otherwise you'll likely be fighting the axis for said islands which is making a lot more work for you.

      Maybe i should have included that here, but i have more info on the coring in the sequel.

    I took a lot longer for the civil war, and didnt go to the uk, but i think, from my new Germany Experience, the Uk will not be easy to defeat as mapuche any more, a lot of ships and a lot of troops hanging there around and come over your invasion force as a tsunami now.

    Have you looked into playing as Bolivia? It doesn't have a focus tree but it does have a few interesting goals and events that can happen when trying to take back your land. I tried it myself and thought it was tricky but interesting. I'd be interested to see you give it a shot!

    isn't naval invading at the start of the civil war much quicker ?

    • @antasil5768
      @antasil5768  2 місяці тому +1

      @@drjakett i believe i mention it in the video: you need to destroy enough divisions first or they'll garrison their ports

      @@antasil5768I've found it to be quite RNG for me, sometimes naval invasions are practically impossible to pull off but generally I've found them to be the easiest way to win the war quickly but to be fair the way you did it was easy and quick so who knows

      @@antasil5768they must have altered the ai then, i remember the strat used to be to just instantly naval invade
