Versace l'Homme/Hermes Bel Ami/Chanel Antaeus---my top three 'panty dropper' fragrances of the 80s. Thinking back I can actually place certain fragrances with clothes I wore and certain dates and girls. Those days are long gone but I still have bottles of them and they bring back great memories. The power of scent.
The Ram Man . Your just talking your buns off and it's great . I thoroughly enjoy the history in the year the scent was put out . I always loved history in school. That Cerruti looks other worldly . From a time of optimism . When the world made more sense .

Will surely look into this Perak. There definitely is a toilet bowl citrus effect in Versace L'Homme, moreso in the vintage. I can see how one would prefer Cerruti Fair Play over Cerruti OG if he ranks YSL Jazz as highly as you do. Thanks for the shout-out 😊
A difficult year without many superstars, but Davidoff, Tuscany and Lacoste still hits for me. I totally forgot Giorgio for Men was from '84! Haven't worn that one in a good while. Cheers on snagging that Perac bottle. I like stuff that looks and feels like it'll last. 😎
@@RamseytheRam another UA-camr sent me some samples of vintage perfumes in her collection and Ysatis wa so included. I couldn’t believe how good it was. I immediately searched for a vintage bottle and found one at an estate sale…sealed. Seems like it was bottled in 87. I wear it a lot. I have no idea what the modern version is like but I’m guessing that since it’s no longer popular, it might suck.
To my nose, the original Lacoste smells quite similar to Floris Elite. It's pretty good but considering the fragrances released that year I can see where it would come in lower on the list. So glad to see Giorgio Beverly Hills for Men on the list. It's the fragrance that got me into.....fragrance. Completely intoxicating. A couple others I didn't know about that I'll add to my wish list. Fabulous!
Thanks so much for watching & the feedback Kevin... if you love Giorgio for men try and hunt down Luciano Pavarotti from 1994 & Pierre Cardin Pour Monsieur from 1972... and if you are into Unicorn hunting Tom Fords Moss Breches from 2007 🦄
@@RamseytheRam Luciano Pavarotti & Pierre Cardin are both on my buy list. I actually had a bottle of the Pierre Cardin in my teens (80's). Yes, I'd like to pick up a bottle of Moss Breches. Very hard to find and $$$. I'll keep looking. Really enjoy your vids. Thanks so much!
i got an older bottle (late 90s early 2000s) bottle of floris elite recently and i was suprised how weak the performance was. smelled decent but doesnt project much. did you have the same experience?
@@SeanHH1986 I thought the Floris Elite performance was ok, but not great. I agree that the scent is "decent". I stopped using it when I was going out and only used it after a workout and shower around the house. I won't re-purchase. A bit disappointing but certainly not the worst scent I've owned.
I have Hascish Men, so I’m going to send you a sample and let you tell us how big of a difference there is between the two. I want to see if I need to hunt down the Homme version.
Cannot find your another video with Borsalino... My Borsalino has fantastic longevity and projection. Very strong. Business Man... Why did not even single person ever talk about it's similarity to Drakkar Noir??? Very close.

@ramseytheram I have my mother's Ysatis bottle from the 80's bought in France and it's a dabber bottle with a clear glass top and the box is black (I still have it). The Ysatis bottle has changed several times over the years. The 2nd iteration came with a gold top. And I'm not sure when but it changed from dabber to spay also. I think it changed a couple more times and the latest was back to the clear kinda like the OG but it is a spray and not a dabber and also the box is purple. So if yours came in a black box and is a dabber with the clear top, pretty sure you have the OG.
I effortlessly wear Teatro or stuff like that but keep Ysatis just for reference, I find it almost unwearable on a man. Speaking of feminines, where’s Coco? No love?
