Emerson, you are a marvellous guitarist and a matchless teacher. Thanks, thanks and thanks again from an Italian follower for your perfect lessons on forever living Jimi's music. The absolutely best lessons on UA-cam.
Emerson sir you are a true guitar workman.Any chance you might show us how to play that wonderful "Sepia Tones" piece please? Thanks for all the music.....
Jimi is known as the best?! I'm not sure how he didn't get any credit? Ask anyone that matters and theyll give him credit. I think your just trying to say something sweet and give him praise, which is great. It just struck me funny. Jimi has been praised for his guitar skills and songwriting skills at every turn and will be forever.
I am enjoying this video having my coffee this morning, and I was thinking about asking what kind of strings you use? I have been experimenting with a bunch lately and just curious on what you use? Thank you!!
My favourite Hendrix tune! Thank you so much Emerson! As always your playing is superb and that strat sounds heavenly - You've also just made me want to buy a Germino! Are you using the 5881's or KT66's? Any insight would be really appreciated - also wondering where did you get that super cool coiled chord??? Thank you so much
Hi. I’m running kt 66 like JIMI had in his early 🇬🇧 days. I found out that the coily cable was really taking off a lot of high frequencies so I stopped using it. It was a Lava cable, cool look though!
Hey Emerson. I was emailing Greg about speakers and your name came up in the conversation. I have the club 40 with his 2x12 with a pair of g12m and i m nkt getting the right time for this. I looked up your Weber speakers the ceramic blue dogs and they have a lot of options. Do you recall which options you chose? Power, ohms, dope etc? Also how would you compare the club 40 to the classic 45 for this song? Does it still get in the ballpark or is this have better tone for this song? Also I was wondering what reverb you used here? Is it post or going straight into front of amp? Thanks!
Just came across your channel through this !! Very legit lesson thank you :)) also what strat model is that ?? It looks straight out of 1968!! Thank you
Lol me too! First attempt at this was almost 40 years ago, then discovered guitar tabs and arranged a compromise... then came yours and I’m now struggling to unlearn my old version in favour of this. Loads of fun :)
Ps... if you get the time could you have a go at arranging “hit me with your rhythm stick” by Ian Dury and the Blockheads, particularly the sax solo at 1min 40s and the ending. If ever a tune should be done Hendrix style, this is it... Awesome!

Sir you are a great exponent of Hendrick's style of mixing rhythms and lead. Much respect to you from India.
Aalok thanks!
Jimi was so melodic , he never got enough credit nor did he get credit for his song writing skills .

Widely considered to be the best electric guitar player of all time. By some, he is even elevated to God-like status. So that's a lot of credit.
