My wife and I love riding the trail every spring and fall. There are some great local wineries along the trail and nearby from Hermann to Defiance. Also in Defiance the Good News Brewery right on the trail is a great place for a beer and a pizza. Historic Main Street St. Charles has lots of nice shops and restaurants as well. Love the videos!!!
I was raised in Clinton MO👍 My friend Lives there and she rides the trails with her friend . Looks fun
Great video, again!! I miss your videos, they are too far apart!LOL!!
Thanks. I know I’m trying to rectify that. Life. Thanks for hanging in there!
The next time you are ever in Sedalia, you have to eat at Khede's BBQ! They have an old train dinning car you can eat in, and it is awesome food!
On my bucket list
Do it!
Thanks so much for letting us tag along. Can’t wait to ride this trail.
You’re welcome. You’re gonna love it!!!

@@DeniseLookingOut it looks like a great ride. Was it well marked or did you use a garmin??
@@vanomadcyclist3474 I only used my Garmin to keep track of miles. Super well marked. And there are maps at every trailhead to find your way to towns like Jefferson City.
Just east of Rocheport is my favorite part ❤🎉 the bluffs to one side & the river to the other
Yup so gorgeous. I’m working on that section video now.
My wife and I love riding the trail every spring and fall. Just last weekend we had quite a ride with those 30mph wind guest in our faces. Some nice wineries when you get into Hremann through Defiance on the trail. Plus in Defiance the Good News brewery right on the trail is a great place too.

how long was the trip from windsor to Jefferson City and how long did it take?
We did it in two days with an overnight in between at Katy Roundhouse in New Franklin. It’s about 110 miles. New Franklin to Jefferson City was my favorite section.
Poor guy probably had benefit from a bigger bike or rise the seat on that one a little bit?
I say, to each their own on seat position. 🤙 I did a bike fit when I started touring to dial everything in.
@@DeniseLookingOut maybe is the camera lens that make one looks all cramp down on the bike with excessive knee bend.
The fence 10:41 wasn't there six years ago.
I feel like that big fence was part of some big construction.
A company moved into an abandoned property and part of the agreement was that they would have rail access. So an old section of the KATY was uncovered for that. They put a new trail section along the uncovered rail and that fence was put in during the completion of the new section.
@@74gmann awesome. thanks for sharing its back story!
