It also holds the title of America’s longest continuous rail-trail. We pack up at Katy Rock Junction Camping and Cabins in Windsor to bike tour through Sedalia and Boonville before stopping to bike camp at Katy Roundhouse Campground in Old Franklin. Check out what we encountered that September day.

My wife and I love riding the trail every spring and fall. There are some great local wineries along the trail and nearby from Hermann to Defiance. Also in Defiance the Good News Brewery right on the trail is a great place for a beer and a pizza. Historic Main Street St. Charles has lots of nice shops and restaurants as well. Love the videos!!!

The next time you are ever in Sedalia, you have to eat at Khede's BBQ! They have an old train dinning car you can eat in, and it is awesome food!

My wife and I love riding the trail every spring and fall. Just last weekend we had quite a ride with those 30mph wind guest in our faces. Some nice wineries when you get into Hremann through Defiance on the trail. Plus in Defiance the Good News brewery right on the trail is a great place too.

A company moved into an abandoned property and part of the agreement was that they would have rail access. So an old section of the KATY was uncovered for that. They put a new trail section along the uncovered rail and that fence was put in during the completion of the new section.
