Once I saw Kersey put the cyanide powder into that cannoli, and that mobster ate a few bites of it, it was like getting a severe anaphylactic reaction that would eventually kill him. The mobster ended up with severe coughing and severe angioedema - and just like that - IT WAS ALL OVER FOR THAT CRIMINAL.
The poor mother. She finally gets a customer, and shortly after her son was poisoned. I loved seeing Chickie die. But Bronson got a little sloppy here. Either Chickie or his brother probably should've noticed him before the cyanide incident. Hence it's a movie.

Chicki Paconi only takes huge bites from cannolis, just like earlier in the movie before getting into his white Corvette. If it wasn't the cyanide, he could have choked from biting off more than he can chew.
