Yo! Welcome to the ink club :D I'm so happy you liked my video and featured my artwork. I am beyond flattered. Great work, the first shell is always a little tricky! It looks like maybe there was some rough spots on your shell or something, and I also agree I think the colours may have been a tad dark to set up the contrast you had in mind. I found that what really helped mine "pop" was giving them a spritz of rubbing alcohol from a toothbrush, that really helped bring everything together. Anyway dude, I have been keeping an eye on your work and I must say that I am very impressed with your stuff. Keep it up! -Nolan
Yes! Thank you for reaching out, and sorry I didn't reach out t you initially as I dug into this project, I'm sure it would have been a help. Not sure this is my cup of tea, but I'm trying new things regularly so this was a fun thing to test out.
@@malonedrum no worries about reaching out my man, we all live busy lives im sure! 😁 either way, even if it wasn't your cup of tea, it still made for a good video! All the best.
A simple and effective 6 lugs snare. The surface painted with alcohol ink is sticky, doesn't it stick to your hands? Anyway, nice video. Keep on going.
Here's the alcohol ink kit I used: amzn.to/3OsS3Sp

“Orphan Shell” beautifully expressed! Alcohol Ink is really creative. Good preparation! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another fun project to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Sure happy to see The Packers get back on track. I do have concerns about Aaron’s thumb though.
The amount of people commenting on the Packers on my videos is making my day. #gopackgo
Dude it could a been so nice .
I’m sure with more practice on this style of art, I could get better, but a first time for me…
