- In this episode, we're headed to the second location on our excursion in Dominica with Waitukubuli Adventure Tour Company! Join us as we take a dip in the refreshing Titou Gorge, see a filming location from Pirates of the Caribbean 2, and swim upstream to bathe in a waterfall... then it's time to head back to the ship for some food and some singing... huzzah!!

The final phase of MegaVacay2020 is a ten-night cruise aboard the Crown Princess out of Fort Lauderdale! We sailed February 5 - March 6, 2020 with stops in St. Thomas, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, and Aruba. So far, we've completed a week at DisneyWorld as well as 20 days of cruising aboard the Mariner Of The Seas, Grand Celebration, Carnival Sunrise, and MSC Armonia... and we're ready for one more dose of fun to close out our mega vacay agenda!

St Thomas AND Dominica sounds like Freeport with bush wackers, conch fritters, sugar cane and pirates of the Caribbean!!!😂 Pirates of the Caribbean shot one scene on the beach here in Freeport ..... I think it was dead man’s chest.
Wow, I guess Johnny Depp got all around the Bahamas and the Caribbean filming those suckers, ha ha!! :P
You guys did awesome! I am just thinking about people like Hubert that are affected by this pandemic. I am sure they rely on tourism and with having Covid going on, I hope they are doing ok. Of course I hope everyone is ok, but just thinking about people that rely on tourists coming in and they might not have anything to fall back on or a government that can not support them.
True! We've met so many amazing folks in our travels, and we hope they're all making it through this thing safely and securely, both from a health and a business standpoint!!

Nice journey in Dominica you guys. Back in 2016 on the Royal, we were exhausted from Grenada the previous day, so we stayed on the ship except for a short jaunt to the port area for some postcards and trinkets. Very nice voice Dee. Looks like a fun competition and hoping you did well further on. 👍👍👍😎
Funny, we had the ports in reverse... we wore ourselves out in Dominica, then took it easy in Grenada, ha ha... but we do love those southern Caribbean islands!! :D
@@parodeejay Yes. It appears to be the same itinerary we had on the Royal, but in reverse. 2 sea days, Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Dominica, St. Thomas and 2 final sea days (Princess Cays was skipped due to rough conditions). 😊
Everything looks beautiful but that was definitely a very strenuous Shore Excursion. And I hope you knew before you went on it that it was going to be that strenuous.
It was definitely a challenge, hah! We didn't research it too hard since it was a last-minute switch, but we knew it would be quite physical. We're super proud that we pulled it off!! :D
Well, that was an adventure! (said in my best Westly voice) Y'all sure know how to do all the stuff and things on a cruise! Can't wait to see how Dee does!
This was probably the most adventurous stuff & things we've ever attempted, but it was definitely an eventful and fun day!! :D

The hike reminded me of one my wife and I did in Kauai, which also included a kayak trip to and from the hiking/waterfall location. It was, by far, the most strenuous thing my wife and I have ever done on vacation, and I learned I really am not keen on kayaks! LOL. Looking forward to your next stop.

What an amazing excursion!
That tour in Dominica was great. A little hard for "city people" except new yorkers. We walk a lot but also deal with overweight issues as anybody else (lots of good food around).
This was definitely the most challenging excursion we've done, but it was so worth it in the long run. Looking back, it's probably one of my personal favorites just because of the feeling of accomplishment that came along with it!! :D ~Jay
Titou Gorge is amazing. What an awesome excursion. You were both champs! The auditions and Voice of the Ocean are so much fun. Lots of things we love about Princess cruise line. Thanks for sharing.
We found so many cool new things to get involved in on Princess, ha ha... by the end of the cruise, all we did was rehearsals and performances, it seemed like!! :P

That was definitely a challenge! When we went to Trafalgar Falls on our first visit, that was a staircase down to the falls. This was definitely a rugged trail in my book, hah!! :P

How long was tour excursion?
Their website lists it as a 4.5 hour excursion, but I'm preeeeetty sure my hiking skills slowed the group down a bit, ha ha... but no one seemed to mind... :P ~Jay
