Check out the cover that Katherine Jenkins did. The key change was something that she used in her version of the song. This cover is a mixture of the two =)
she was good at the end when she dropped the "pop" voice and used her classical voice, she should have just done that through the whole song

+Dakkon Denethor she was thai dude, English is hard enough. Let alone trying to sing it with the right emphasis on the right parts of the words. I thought it was good enough for a university orchestra.

@@nicknak112 it's not her English, it's all the notes that are completely off.
She's not a bad singer, she just didn't do a good job in the parts without classical singing. It's not the English pronunciation. She got the breathing wrong in several parts, specially in the beginning, was a bit off pitch in some parts and she could sound less flat if she used cry, overdrive and edge techniques in some parts. But I like that she added a bit of classical singing in the end, which are the part she sang beautifully. Too bad it could be better mixed throughout the music
The girl is so out of her element, it was hard to watch. I would like to hear the background music with better audio quality, because it sounded horrible but I think it is because the recording quality.

she's an opera singer, she should stick to opera. this isn't meant to be an insult, but any singer singing out of their comfortable field isn't going to do well, especially if they have little to no experience in a new field. she's a beautiful opera singer, rock just doesn't suit her.
