@@hans1426a reply from 7 year later - Roy has talked in detail about studying ~2.5 years with an opera mentor and her giving him an ultimatum - either stay with me or go with the heavy music. He obviously chose the latter. 🤘
what makes this more awesome is that fact that they picked a song which can be done in an opera style since Roy was trained to sing opera

+Ryan Ne I used to love Kamelot but when Roy Khan left i just cant listen to there new stuff at all. Im curious from one fan to another how you felt man.
Dante Darko I actually like it yeah a new sound to model after Tommy's vocals but I still have high respect for roy khan. He is still and always be my hero
+Dante Darko I met the band after Roy's departure, but still i felt so bad when i listened to his voice knowing he left. Anyway i think Tommy is a perfect replacement, he does a great job

Since Kamelot is looking for a new vocalist, they need not look any further! This guy hit the nail on the head. Roy himself was part Thai, and so is this guy. I think it's a good fit.

Wow, this was amazing!!! Kamelot is my favorite band and you guys certainly did this song amazing justice! The whole production is just fantastic. Awesome voice too... This version actually seems more haunting/gothic. Like a gothic number from a broadway show. Seriously, this is amazing.
