No, This is how you have to connect to the Dashcam. I would advice you to reset the Dashcam and reconnect your phone with it, It might solve voice command glitch.
Hi, great video. Im planning to purchase the same. May i know which SD card / capacity works the best? There are mixed reviews on SD cards on amazon / Nexdigitron ace 2 / which say that the card is getting corrupt after using the camera.

Hello, 1. No, you needn’t turn the wifi off as your phone wouldn’t connects to the dashcam’s wifi until you open its app.(when you open the app then it asks you to connect. (It won’t happen by itself) 2. Yea it does. 3.No , it only gives ‘Recording started and stopped’ prompts. 4.Yes it does.
The live preview is shown at a lower resolution on purpose, to ensure smoother playback. You’ll get a full resolution video file when you access it from the card on the app.

I am personally using this Dashcam with Sandisk A1 128GB SD card.
It is working flawlessly well.

I would advise going with what the brand is recommending,so you may go ahead with the SAMSUNG one.
I find 128 GB Storage capacity sufficient.

As a last resort , you may reset your Dashcam and again connect your device with it.
