They are in a ultra pro fit sleeve this is used for a number of different reasons the same as BGS Beckett to stop movement as an extra layer of protection aswell as allowing us to slab smaller TCG’s such as Yu-gi-oh and also to stop rattle and overall damage through out the years we know there has been tests when the slab has been shaken but a sleeve to stop movement and any damage was used and will always be used with us We are sorry if that puts you off our service but we only have good intentions for your cards prolonged protection Best regards -Kieran
Firstly, this is probably the quickest response I’ve ever had from Get Graded, given I was a customer when they first launched and had the worst experience maybe my views are probably tainted. I’m not a fan of penny sleeves on cards in slabs but I am certainly no expert and appreciate your reasons as to why you sleeve the cards. It will be interesting to see how the market moves with the new management and I genuinely wish you all the best for the future Cheers Paul
Is it new management or new owner and management? One thing I can't understand is the grading change in centering, how can that change. 😂 Until they stop putting the cards in tight fit sleeves I won't be using them, it some times creases and looks like shit. I do like the grading report though, I actually bought one of the ACE ones for £2 as I was curious why my card got the grade it did. Now I have used ACE I have to say that the system they have in place with updating you is excellent, the best in the UK.
@@ChefB4T Where is the information of these new owners? Companies house still shows Kane Crossfill as the owner. Another comment below saying the brothers have been in control since "October/September last year" if that's the case why is Kane Crossfill still the owner as of Feb 22. Are they just trying to convince people that Kane is no longer there due to his incredibly rude manner in which he conducts himself.
@@philmitchell9413 when we took the company over we only bought the name and equipment we weren’t interested in the LTD company name for certain reasons but we decided to register our own new company so that anything from the past that was tied to the company (not saying there is anything but we didn’t wanna take the chance) we trade as GetGraded under the LTD company ‘KAS collectables’ you’ll find all the necessary information in our terms and conditions page
Personally wouldn’t waste my money on getting my cards graded with this lot. The market is so saturated that most uk grading companies will go bust by the time PSA goes back to normal
I sent a nice zard off when they first opened and the case was cracked in multiple cases, they said they would reslab it but i didnt want to send it back. Im going to crack it and send it to ace or cgc. Good luck to the new owners and i wish them success but i find other slabs better and wont re-use them. The poke parcel boxes they are selling look decent though and i may try that
The 2 brothers have been in control of getgraded since before October/September last year. I submitted to them and was genuinely really excited. My plan was to send them alot of cards and stick with them. I received my submission back in December, bare in mind Shane and Kieran had control of them a few months at that point. They had addressed the cracked slab issue and the label according to their social media posts. The slabs when I received them were packaged really well, you could of thrown the package up the road and it would of been okay. The slabs were clear and not the frosted ones I'd seen. However I could see dust and little bits trapped between the slabs, one of the slabs (my best card ever) had a crack in the back of the slab... that obviously happened when at the premises when slabbing the card. The label has these perforated bits where it was torn off from a reel... this doesn't look good. If you need to contact them they won't respond to you on their website or email... you need to message them on social media to get a response. They're missing vital parts of the business that customers need for a good experience. I worked in QA for a large company so maybe I'm a little militant on my expectations but for this reason I can't grade with them again. Only recently I saw they posted about fixing the wait times... they were saying that months ago. Trust isn't there anymore sadly! But I hope they continue to make changes because they really need to.
Oh dear Joanna, what an experience!! Thanks for sharing, maybe they will responded to your comment. Every grading company should have high standards (even as high as yours).👌
@@ChefB4T That's not everything, I don't want to slate them I really don't, I really wish them well but they really need to change a lot. I've found a grading company I'm satisfied with now so no need for them to reply to me. They already replied to an earlier review of mine with a sharp answer so maybe we agreed to disagree!
It would be nice to see a follow-up on this a year later, did they improve, have they managed to win back the community?
This is a great idea! We did use them in my latest video at a card show.
Thank you for the fresh review chef :) we wish you good grades with whichever company you use in the future 🔥🔥
I rate Getgraded regardless of what most say. Would never use Ace as a cannot stand Randolph
Great vid Kris, it will be good to see if all the UK based graders stand the test of time.
Defiantly gunna be interesting mate.
What a video 👨🍳 one question have they slabbed the card in a penny sleeve. That drives me mad if so

@@TheRetroGenie we don’t plan on going more than 2 days without a response to any customer we are definitely not the old get graded :)
I support there is only one way for me to take your word for that. I’ll make a sub and YT the outcome. The gauntlet has been set
I think that answered your question 😜

I agree, the old owners were on a different planet. I really like Ace & their new grading reports are defiantly worth the £2 for piece of mind.

Yeah, I’ve had some real bad experiences in the past. I don’t know what the poke parcels are. I will have to check them out. Cheers mate
