I've made this joke before but, I'm afraid that if I go to a chiropractor they're gonna look into a camera and say "I'm about to do what one might call a pro gamer move" and just snap my neck
I went to college for massage therapy and one of my professors was a chiropractor (all the rest were practicing or former massage therapists, he taught anatomy and physiology, not technique). This professor told us a fun trick of the trade was to have a patient stand slightly askew while taking an xray of their spine at the beginning of their first appointment and tell them they had a bit of scoliosis, several sessions later, line them up properly and bam! Scoliosis cured! Learned that at 18 and haven't trusted chiropractors since.
I go to a chiropractor and he's great. I think any field of medicine or physical rehab is susceptible to having quacks. I've had bad primary physicians too. So if I had one bad MD in my life does that suddenly completely discredit the entire field of medicine? Obviously that's a no.
When I was young, I had to go to the chiropractor with my family. There were weekly visits for a while, where when it was my turn, I'd come in and lie face down on a table and the chiropractor comes in and cracks my back (and neck?), then I sit in a chair and he cracks my neck that way. Well.. _one time,_ when it came to sitting in the chair.. the man proceeds to hold my head and fast turn it to the left to crack my neck - except, there was no cracking sound. Having not worked the first time, he proceeds and tries turning my head to the right instead - there was still no crack. So then I felt him ready himself to turn my head _even further to the right_ and needless to say, _I jumped out of that chair so fxcking fast._ Like, "If one's neck doesn't crack on the first _and second_ try, you really gonna just gonna keep trying until you rotate their head a whole 180°?" I was certain he would've killed me at that point. I mean, I can imagine there are people who have fear of chiropractors for that very reason and having experienced *that* , I can understand it. Just.. there's no way I would trust that.
As someone with a connective tissue disorder that makes it a lot easier to dislocate things, bad chiropractors terrify me. They could easily send me to the hospital if not permanently put me in a wheelchair. My grandma and cousins go to good chiropractors that really help, but I’m not even gonna take the chance. The baby yoga woman is going to go to prison for freaking killing a baby by breaking its neck. You literally have to support babies’ heads while you hold them so the weight of their own head doesn’t do that.
They're all bad chiropractors. The entire practice of chiropractic is founded on insane beliefs about the causes of disease. Anyone who is genuine about wanting to help people who mistakenly starts chiropractic school would understand that the entire thing is fraudulent long before they've finished schooling - *all* of them are disgusting frauds.
My wife went to one in 09 for headaches. The chiro took x-rays and claimed her neck was too straight and that it needed to be curved like a question mark. The woman did a single adjustment and caused a vertebral artery dissection right in the office which caused a stroke in my 26 yr old wife. She ended up in icu for little less than a week then had speech and physical therapy for months afterward. Not to mention the high risk of blood clotting and further stroke risk during the stay in icu. We are fortunate she made a near 100% recovery but it was still scary asf to go through. The real icing on the cake is somehow the quack was found not guilty after a 40 hour jury trial. So we got double screwed. Good times.
I talked to a guy who knows about physia therapy and I asked him about chiropractor stuff and he mentioned that there's some dangerous stuff involved. It is for reasons like you described above because there's a lot of stuff in the neck that can be easily damaged.
I go to a chiropractor and when I mentioned one of the youtube chiros I'd seen (not to request what they did but just out of curiosity), he was immediately like "they're really aggressive for shock value; it makes me cringe".
I went to a chiropractor after pinching a nerve in my lower back by jumping on a trampoline holding my toddler. They didn't do any of the crazy ass back/neck cracking stuff. They told me on my first visit that the goal was to never have to come back. Instead of all that cracking they had me doing stretches and shit, it was extremely uncomfortable and even painful at times, at one point dude had what felt like his entire forearm under my ribs pushing on some muscle or tendon. That hurt. But within a month or two I had no more back pain at all. That was 3 years ago and I've never needed to go back.
You wanna know why some of them don't do the "crazy neck cracking shit"? Because since chiropractors aren't doctor, nor medical professionals, actual medical authorities forbid them from doing those. And why do they forbid them in the first place? Because these moves are dangerous, and have paralyzed people in the past.
@@na-ky8oudepends on the country. But they are medical professionals and are regulated by governing bodies depending on their country. If they call themselves osteomyologists watch out lol.
@@joeflame1130 No. Chiropractors aren't doctors, they have never been able to scientifically prove that what they do has any positive effects on their patients' physical state, and the fact that some countries chose to give them a status won't change anything about that. They're all frauds who leech-off people with health issues, and put them at an even bigger risk with their practice As an update, I should mention the fact that one of my coworkers recently had the same problem as the original commenter, a nerve pinch on his lower back; it was so bad that he was stuck at an almost 90 degrees angle, and that we had to call the emergencies. He was put on medications, went to see a kinesiologist, and 2 weeks later he was good to go. It's as if doctors, and actual health professional were the only comptent people...how strange.
If a chiropractor tries any of these little tricks on Charlie they would be a signing their own death certificate. Charlie has had elaborate Self Defense training by non other than Detroit Urban Survival Training
There was actually a chiropractor I went to when I was younger who, besides knowing what he was doing and legitimately helping me for $30 a visit, went out of his way to actively report and try to put out of business dangerous chiropractors. Dude was a retired surgeon and professor, was just vibing in retirement and giving people the good poppy pop
After I watched this video, I fell asleep. In my slumber, I had a wondrous dream where I conceived an excellent horror movie, of which centered around a frenzied chiropractor who goes on an insidious ring-dinging spree.
My mom went to a chiropractor for back pain, felt worse, and also said that she felt violated because he just sped through all of it without letting her take a breather/moved her around like she couldn’t move herself. She still went back two more times ;( she doesn’t go anymore thought thank god
i've been seeing a chiropactor and honestly it as helped a lot.I was having incredibly painful leg pain and now im in a weelchair and i don't feel my legs so yeah!Sucess!
Mine went above and beyond. He pushed me out a windows and now I feel nothing from the neck down. He did the same to my friends who I recommended him to.
My brother had serious sleeping problems due to pain in his joints all his life. Three days ago, he decided to go to a chiropractor near the local mall, and I witnessed the magic before my very eyes. The chiropractor was so good, that my brother instantly fell asleep. He currently is in the bed, and I am just amazed that he is finally getting much needed sleep! He is really starting to have a really bad stench though, with flies just swarming around him for some reason. But a little bit of bug spray will take care of that! I highly recommend!
I’ve had two experiences with chiropractors, one positive and one negative. The first one I went in for back problems and left with really bad hip problems because my chiropractor pulled the same “your left leg is shorter by about 1/2 an inch” bs. But the second one was actually really helpful, when I was pregnant I dislocated a rib and had adjustments to help put it back in place and keep it there until my daughter was born. Some are complete quacks and some are actually well meaning and helpful. It’s a really mixed bag.
sigh this old chiropractor of mine (im 17 btw) was being creepy to me while my police father was sitting three feet away watching. that’s how every aptmt was but he still did so many subtle things. like so many
While true but if you look at them and if there a solid inch or so of that means your hips are not allied and that can lead to some serious tendon problems if left like that.
@@gundamcollector77 if that’s the case then actually strengthening the muscles through physical therapy will work way better than having some pseudoscientist yank your joints to cause a pop
I never understand why chiropractors are covered by medical insurance and massage therapists are not. Massage therapy is way more helpful for pain and they don't rip your head off.
Actually depends on the message. Deep tissue message is covered by insurance if your referred by a doctor. But it has be liscenced and stuff not just some random massage place
Has to do with lobbyists, nothing more. Whichever group of crazy people has the most money to pay the most or best lobbyists will inherently end up getting covered, regardless of legitimacy. Look at how much power homeopathics have gained in the past 20 years, even though these people literally aren't taking ANY ACTIVE CHEMICAL, literally paying for pill filler and/or sugar. Same with MLMS, tons of lobbyists and buddying with congressmen/women.
My wife saw a chiropractor for some back pain a while ago, though from what I heard from her accounts of what happened there, the chiropractor didn't really believe in the crap himself, as her sessions were maybe 10 minutes of cracking and then the rest was just physical therapy. So the guy seemed to actually know what he was doing. My wife's back pain was gone after a few sessions, and he gave her some actual physical exercises to do to prevent the pain in the future. So I would almost more say my wife went to a physical therapist, but the guy advertised himself as a chiropractor, so idk.
honestly people are more misinformed to believe that a chiropractor is the better choice for back pain than pt, so it was probably just better for him to advertise himself wrong 😭
i read that the only way to get any benefits from chiropractics is to be working with a physical therapist at the same time, it sounds like chiropractics is just putting a bandaid on an issue by giving temporary relief but the exercises in physical therapy are what will actually correct/improve whatever issues are causing the discomfort
this is terribly misinformed. Chiropractors work with the musculo-skeletal system, nervous system, and with soft tissue treatment. If your wife required only 10 minutes of manipulation and the rest was physical therapy and soft tissue treatment, then that's her specific case. It is different for everyone, don't mistake what is a genuinely good chiropractor doing their job and treating each patient to their individual needs with them 'not believing in it'
@@Luke-bq7sd yeah exactly like they don't just cracks your back they're incredibly helpful. I'm not too informed but I've visited for a back injury in my sport and they did a great job with cracking and physical therapy.
I went to a chiropractor once after a neck injury and it was honestly just a very chill experience. Definitely nothing insane happened. I had almost no neck mobility and my neck was twisted to the side. He just did some gentle massages and helped me stretch my neck during the massage. I was able to turn my neck more than I had in over a week because there was slight relief from the pain. He also cracked my back which felt amazing but didn’t do much more to my neck for fear of injuring me since it was so tender. He taught me some stretches and sent me packing. There was no crazy technique or threats my spine would disintegrate if I didn’t come back. Then I watch vids like this and read the comments and I’m so glad I ended up with a normal chiropractor that time and not someone like this.
I watch Charlie videos with a good friend and I came across that video after years and showed it to him and saw Charlie doing a video on chiropractors and just remembered it today. Amazing you did this video cause I found it hilarious. Good to know I wasn't the only person to go down this weird rabbit whole.
The entire field of chiropractics is based on something that, for all intents and purposes, does not exist. There are no legitimate medical, science based workers practicing chiropractics, and just because some insurance covers it doesn't make it legitimate, some insurance covers reiki healing too. Any chiropractors that happen to "help" people are just incidentally providing physical therapy, it isn't the chiropractic practice helping people, it is scammers accidentally providing a different type of treatment that actually helps people.
In an ideal world there should only be physical therapists that use chiropractic as an accessory treatment to the main physical therapy, that's what we do here where I live, you can't be a chiro without being a certified therapist, I don't really understand why that's not the case in North America, seems baffling to me.
it is literally a legitimate field of medicine lol most practitioners in america just aren't actually qualified. stop taking charlie's word as gospel, he isn't actually jesus
I think it depends on your chiropractor. I have scoliosis and military neck and I work EMS (which doesn’t help my back). The chiropractor has always really helped relieve my back and neck pain. The “ring dinger” type of move helps relieve the pressure on my neck from my military neck compressing the vertebrae. But these chiropractors are just humans, like any doctor, nurse, etc: there can be those that are god at their job and others who aren’t. Most of the ones I see on UA-cam I would say are fake. The chiropractor shouldn’t hurt if they are doing everything correct. The chiropractor also includes massage and tens therapy, which exercise and stretching.
Definitely agree with you. For me, it helps if my neck is pulled out of place or there is a section of my back that just hurts, and it does work for that, but anything else it really it doesn’t have a use.
I've gone to a chiropractor before, but a professional one, that had other specializations too (kinesiologist, physical therapist) Because no matter what I did, I woke up with my jaw locked in place and had to painfully unlock it throughout the day (probably caused by bruxism, haven't solved this yet) Only had to go once, after talking about my problem and a quick examination he didn't take more than 20 minutes to fix it forever. Nothing innappropriate, no bs talk. So I do believe there are legit chiropractors out there, but whatever this circus is, isn't that.
I disjointed my thumb once when I was 8 via soccer and was in pain for days. Dad called in a guy that looked like he lived under a bridge somewhere. Dude literally snapped my thumb back in place in 5 minutes. Never judge a book by its cover, I suppose.
My Dad went to this guy from Russia who was an orthopedic surgeon or something over there. Anyways when he moved to America he was already like 60 and didn’t wanna redo all his stuff to get his license so he became a chiropractor. Somehow within about two minutes he knew everything about my Dad. He never asked questions like “does it hurt here” it was more like “it hurts here because of a car accident you were in 2 decades ago” by the way that was paraphrased but he actually did know about a car accident from like 1991
Showed some of the creepy chiropractor's videos to a friend who's actually skilled in chiropractics and she said his methods haven't been taught in the 40 years she's been practicing and instructing, the neck pulling is a HUGE no-no as it can and will lead to permanent damage, the standing up neck pop is also a no-no, pretty much EVERYTHING he does has not been standard practice for decades, if I'm to guess he was taught old methods and adapted them to what looks good on camera and makes repeat customers with empty promises and possibly temporary relief if he's even a chiropractor at all.
@@matteodelgallo1983 proper chiropractic care couples with stretching and exercise do provide long term relief as they actually fix the issue, most chiropractors are driven by frequent repeat visits so they do only what provides temporary relief, the chiropractor I use focuses on long term relief and if possible permanent relief by way of eliminating the cause of the pain
A chiropractor helped with my scoliosis. Then again, he's actually a physical therapist, and previously worked on with multiple cycling and racing world champions before "retiring" to my hometown. Then his son took over, had one session with him and almost fucking died, never went to a chiro again.
Nah, chiropractic is bullshit. Any experienced physiotherapist/rehab therapist and cortisol injections (nerve healing in case of neuron fibrosis) could do the trick, with evidence-based medicine. You can thank human evolution for f'ing up the coordination and alignment of the spinal musculature and the torsion and tension it imposes.

@@fragileomniscience7647 Depends on the origin of the injury/scope of a given chiropractor's practice, and how much they care about keeping up with their studies and techniques. If they don't rule out muscular imbalances or skeletal imbalances originating below the lphc, or just do the same basic neck and back cracks, probably bs. But there are issues that originate in the spine, chiropractors that have a broader scope of practice/refer out for serious or out of their practice problems, and keep up with effective treatment methods. I've known both. The certification board could be more competent for sure, but chiropractic itself has a place and isn't inherently a scam

I worked for an ophthalmologist and one question she asked often if the patient had a significant loss in vision is if they had chiropractic neck manipulation; meaning some of these procedures can not only paralyze but cause near or total blindness
I saw a “chiropractor” do that to a guy once the guy couldn’t move after that, like they paralyzed him from the neck down. It’s horrifying to see how easy it is to screw this stuff up
I've been seeing the same chiropractor on and off for over 20 years. Not ONE TIME have I had any negative experiences or side effects from any manipulation. Kept me from having spinal surgery after a bad car accident. 3 surgeons all said the same thing, "you'll never fully recover without surgery". Less than 6 months later I'm back on my feet good as new without a $200,000+ bill. Just because there are some grifters out there doesn't mean every single chiropractor is a fake.

She doesn't do any tricks to get you to come back, worst case scenario, she'll ask you to come back once for a check-up to see how your doing, but if you consistently did what she instructed you to, that will be it.
I’ve had a good experience with the one chiropractor I’ve had (since I was like 12). He’s more of a physical therapist but he’s helped me with my 24° scoliosis (has improved since then), dislocated bones, and other injuries. Also I think a green flags for chiropractors is when they are the exact opposite of that ring-dinger guy: no hydraulics, short adjustments, minimal contact/touching, straight up honest (no spiritual-medical jargon or uneven feet bs), talks to you like they know you’re not some kind of doctor, and this sounds weird but dresses like he going to church (and not like a typical doctor).
I remember when I was a kid (about 7), I went to some old chiropractor who, after doing all the normal cracking shit, wanted to fix my "naughty boy nerve" where, similar to the Ring Dinger, just grabbed my head and ripped up and left. Everyone laughed, he patted himself on the back, and I was left with the most intense migraine for what felt like a week. Always feared chiropractors ever since.

Weak abs and flabby butt can be a major cause especially at 30+. I couldn't even pull my fat ass out of bed at first, I had to start with 3 sit-ups at a time for weeks and it was always the last thing I wanted to do. I can do 40+ now and I'm not even sure how long I can run for but it's an hour+ and I'm 36. #2 Stretch and always practice proper posture. #3 Supplements; Turmeric with black pepper for inflammation (a major cause of pain), Omega 3 is good for muscle and brain health and collagen is essential for joints (think of it like oiling a machine). Anyway, that's my secret that works for me, I hope it helps.
I stopped going to mine after I made a crack about the essential oils in her lobby and the MLM's that can come with the brand. Then the chiropractor goes "Well we don't really know that vaccines don't cause autism." I basically booked it out of there and didn't ever go back.
5:35 THANK YOU!!! it blows my mind that people think these quacks are actual MD's or have a PHD in anything. it really is just snake oil nonsense that costs a lot of money. and they all say: "come back every week FOREVER in order to help with the pain". if that's not a scam idk what is, and pretending to be doctors is particularly triggering for anyone who has put in the time to get a PHD.
I was in a car wreck in 2019, and they sent me to one as part of my physical therapy. My normal chiropractor had a gentle touch and I had no issues with her. One day she was out and I had some new guy. He "adjusted" my neck like the 3 herniated disk in my neck didn't matter. Mind you, 2 of there were between 2-4mm away from need surgery to heal properly. And this was a place that specialized in sports and car wreck injuries, and he had my charts. So it's not like I had to tell him what was up. I felt the rage he had for anyone who rejected him in highschool, and probably up to that point when he basically attempted to finishing move my head from my shoulders.
There is one that comes to our barn and does chiropractic work on our horses (it does legitimately work. You can see the results in seconds. They immediately relax.) she went to school for 8 years. Anyway, she is actually a professional boxer 😂
I don’t know if this is an America thing. But in Canada our chiropractors are essentially physiotherapists. My chiro does like two things with my back and the rest is muscle work.
when I was about 14 my mom and I started going to a chiropractor for a couple of years because we both had back problems. he never did us any good and we both still hurt worse than we did before every time we went. i eventually figured out all I needed for my back pain was a wedge pillow on my side (im a side sleeper) and my back pain went away very quickly and i am doing so much better. my mom also stopped going. i've always felt like it was a scam myself as well. There was one time when my mom started talking to an elderly couple in the waiting room and they said they had been going to this chiropractor for over 10 years and I'm thinkin " what??? they should've been cured by now " so yeah it seems that they don't do any good at all. the chiropractor also just gave my mom and i the creeps...
Yeah no, I shadowed one for my class and dude had his head stuck so far up his ass. He literally said to me "now we don't ask questions". None of my other mentors said this to me (aside from one but it was during a surgery and I could still ask questions just not when they needed to focus). And just to let you know, this guy had to explicitly state that he was willing to accept and mentor students.
The ring dinger is legitimately a move of biblical importance. Anyone who's ever witnessed, let alone fallen victim to a ring dinger, has immediately had their life changed and their soul rocked.
As the kid of a chiropractor, having had it done to me before. It’s not as terrible as it seems, kinda like popping your neck from side to side but vertically. The sensation I can only describe as “like your nerves getting flashbanged” it’s weird and overstimulating but it fades away pretty quick. So you’re not too far off tbh.

My mom visits one every once in a while, eversince she been in a car crash and got spinal damage. They showed her methods of taking off of the sensitive segments and she usually is a lot more mobile and painfree after a session. I don't think those guys from the video here are like that but there are certainly people who provide a helpful service.
My tiny hometown had a chiropractor that specialized in babies. He was a nice guy and had an actual medical license. He was a pediatrician for 30 years and this was his "retirement". He almost never popped a baby though. His most requested service was basically stretching a baby in ways that got their digestive system to move more and help constipated babies get it all out. He was essentially a massage therapist for babies. He did a few adjustments on adults every now and then but for the most part He had Maybe 3 patients a week, if that. I trust massage therapists to pop me but I know thats literally all they're doing. If done well it feels good but God is it hard to find someone I'm willing to let potentially paralyze me.
@@apolloandwarrior_3229 it's because their bread and butter, manipulations, are useless and potentially harmful, and so they've had to adapt by stealing other professions therapies, except they call themselves doctor, charge a lot more, and don't understand that over 95% of back pain will resolve more or less on it's own along with exercises, pain relief, etc.
There's a huge difference between old perverts groping and paralyzing their clients with fake medicine and someone who is a pediatrician and uses physical therapy rather then breaking baby spinal cords. Good on that pediatrician, sounds like someone who actually just wants people to be happy and healthy.
@Kyler Markle but its not the same, you can't have physical therapy for misaligned bone structure. Idk whether the entire thing is good or terrible but from what I'm getting in the comment section, some chiropractors are great while many others shouldn't be practicing, and the variability between what you're gonna get makes the whole thing dangerous to try. So im not saying anyone should try it, but you can't really say 'go to a pt' as if that would fix every issue someone with a chiropractor has, Imho. Tbh feel free to tell me whether you disagree because i am definitely not an authority on this, but i go to a physiotherapist regularly and I don't really see how they would help with scoliosis, for example.

Oh god I’m so sorry, hope that chiro gets his license removed, sued, and imprisoned for life. And your wife is healed. Blessings to you and your family, friend.
I’ve been reading the comments about chiropractors and the things I read are crazy. I genuinely think the reason why people are scared of chiropractors is because restrictions for chiropractic are looser in America. As a Canadian that’s been going to the chiropractor once a month (not counting the times I had to go for an emergency such as a bad muscle cramp or a joint bent backwards) since I’m smaller that a kitchen counter. I find it absolutely amazing and pain releasing. Not to mention that every chiropractor I ever had never ever did any things we see on UA-cam videos. I believe none of these people we see are professional. Not a single one of them.
It’s because only the extreme from of anything practice are always highlighted-for views. The ring ding is not a safe adjustment and he will seriously hurt someone one day.
People who do chiropractics fall into one of two categories. Those who used to be physical therapists who use that knowledge to help people after retirement from physical therapy... and these creeps who probably don't know a damn thing about what their doing to the body and just use it to touch people. There is no in-between and most fall into the latter category
Man, even a retired PT would never rely on joint manipulations. Most likely they're gonna teach you some flexibility and strengthening exercises depending on your problem 🤣

The only chiropractor I went to was after I got a concussion I was a dumbass and climbed up a stone wall one night, stood straight up, and hit my head into a tree I went to the chiropractor cause my family said I should make sure my neck wasn’t going to have any permanent damage. He did an X-ray, walked back, told me it won’t be permanent, and shook my hand. So I’m glad I got lucky
When our first child was born, she wouldn't turn her head to the left. We were recommended a baby chiropractor. She didn't crack any bones in our daughter. She found where muscles in our daughter's shoulder were knotted from the birthing process and massaged the knot. The results were very good and immediate. We went back a week later for a follow up and the chiropractor asked if we'd had any further problems. When we said "no", she said there was no reason for her to work on our daughter. Maybe we got lucky. Maybe our daughter would have been better after a night's sleep without the visit. I was happy though
Honestly it's hard to tell when they are legitimate vs. when they aren't. When my dad was younger and played soccer and basketball, he ended up hurting his spine. He went to a chiropractor that was a friend's friend, and he fixed him up that same day and he hasn't had problems since (note this is in Mexico so no insurance connections whatsoever). Recently, since I sit at a desk most of the day for school and work, I decided to go to a chiropractor to relieve the stress in my spine and hips (I'm in the US) and my dad thought it would be neat since he had a good experience. This guy decided to jerk my neck in the most awful, painful way and now I have Dysphagia because of him. I'll tell you my dad was VERY angry. So yeah, I just stick to exercising and stretching every morning. it just pains me to see patients going through this and seeing that the few genuine chiropractors are assumed to be bad as well.
I think most reputable chiros will tell you that chiropracting isn't a magic fix for all your issues, and advise other methods for long term relief. It's the shady ones who act like they're the most effective way to cure every single ailment that you need to watch out for.
i remember the penn and teller episode whose tldr was basically by the end was all "Hey don't fucking crack your 6 year old but if you had an accident and actual back pain you may still go to one"
@@SilencedButNotForgotten copying another comment The majority of what chiropractors treat, or at least good ones, is soft tissue. If you have incredibly tight shoulders, or sore muscles in your back, hip flexors, etc, they have various methods to deal with this. Electrode stimming, massage therapy, heating pads, airbag pressure therapy, platelet rich plasma, trigger point injections, etc. Then at the very end for about 5 minutes, they do some adjustments, the bone cracking everybody seems to focus on. Guess what isn't pseudoscience? Sports massage, soft tissue rehab, electrode stimming. These are all scientifically proven to stimulate blood flow, and increased blood flow and circulation is actually what causes our bodies to heal themselves. That's why calf muscles and feet are the most likely to cramp, because they receive the least amount of circulation in the body. Massage feels good and has healing effects precisely because of the fact that it increases blood flow to the areas being massaged and aids our bodies in healing themselves. None of that is junk or akin to aromatherapy.
You've gotta find a good chiropractor. There are good ones and there are bad ones, it's not all a scam. A sign of a good chiropractor is if they take X-rays before they work on you your first visit. Mine didn't work on me till my second visit. They even do cranial adjustments. I can't recommend it enough it's so worth it
My physical therapist recently did a “full Nelson” on me lol. I didn’t know how goofy it looked, and the poor man had to lift me off the table to get my back to crack lmao
Yea, chiropractors are usually not very popular amongst us physical therapists. Unfortunately it's often people with very sketchy educational backround that just do the same practices on every person even though they're compeltely healthy and manipulations (the things chiros do) are often dangerous if you don't know EXACTLY when to do them and why

Truth. I understand this stuff a bit and that guy is insane. He's just popping joints and pressing on nerves like it's a spa treatment. The thumbs in the cheeks is for treating headaches and helps me a lot, then he is adjusting the shit out of the lower back for no reason.

@@chrisredfield6274 I mean Im sure there are good chiropractors out there, but its still a washy industry
So then I felt him ready himself to turn my head _even further to the right_ and needless to say, _I jumped out of that chair so fxcking fast._
Like, "If one's neck doesn't crack on the first _and second_ try, you really gonna just gonna keep trying until you rotate their head a whole 180°?" I was certain he would've killed me at that point. I mean, I can imagine there are people who have fear of chiropractors for that very reason and having experienced *that* , I can understand it. Just.. there's no way I would trust that.

As someone with a connective tissue disorder that makes it a lot easier to dislocate things, bad chiropractors terrify me.

It is different for everyone, don't mistake what is a genuinely good chiropractor doing their job and treating each patient to their individual needs with them 'not believing in it'
Chiropractors are supposed to use both.

What’s a “military neck”? 🤔
My dad went to a chiropractor and he kept my dad's back pain manageable until we moved so I mean there's at least something to it
@Muh Election was stolen who gives an f if it was a placebo. It got rid of his pain when nothing else would.
I've gone to a chiropractor before, but a professional one, that had other specializations too (kinesiologist, physical therapist) Because no matter what I did, I woke up with my jaw locked in place and had to painfully unlock it throughout the day (probably caused by bruxism, haven't solved this yet)
Only had to go once, after talking about my problem and a quick examination he didn't take more than 20 minutes to fix it forever. Nothing innappropriate, no bs talk. So I do believe there are legit chiropractors out there, but whatever this circus is, isn't that.
that prob stemmed from his specialties in the other fields as you mentioned. most chiropractors aren’t like that unfortunately
He never asked questions like “does it hurt here” it was more like “it hurts here because of a car accident you were in 2 decades ago” by the way that was paraphrased but he actually did know about a car accident from like 1991

it's the ones that done have social media
Showed some of the creepy chiropractor's videos to a friend who's actually skilled in chiropractics and she said his methods haven't been taught in the 40 years she's been practicing and instructing, the neck pulling is a HUGE no-no as it can and will lead to permanent damage, the standing up neck pop is also a no-no, pretty much EVERYTHING he does has not been standard practice for decades, if I'm to guess he was taught old methods and adapted them to what looks good on camera and makes repeat customers with empty promises and possibly temporary relief if he's even a chiropractor at all.
sounds like a bdsm thing. i wouldnt be suprised if he was arrested for killing a client for his nonsense
Well chiropractic has been shown to only ever be able to supply temporary relief anyways so
@@matteodelgallo1983 proper chiropractic care couples with stretching and exercise do provide long term relief as they actually fix the issue, most chiropractors are driven by frequent repeat visits so they do only what provides temporary relief, the chiropractor I use focuses on long term relief and if possible permanent relief by way of eliminating the cause of the pain

In general, if someone refers to themselves as a chiropractic, they’re selling snake oil.

Yanking on the neck trying to pop the spine there is so dumb and dangerous.
I felt the rage he had for anyone who rejected him in highschool, and probably up to that point when he basically attempted to finishing move my head from my shoulders.

when I was about 14 my mom and I started going to a chiropractor for a couple of years because we both had back problems. he never did us any good and we both still hurt worse than we did before every time we went. i eventually figured out all I needed for my back pain was a wedge pillow on my side (im a side sleeper) and my back pain went away very quickly and i am doing so much better. my mom also stopped going. i've always felt like it was a scam myself as well.
Anyone who's ever witnessed, let alone fallen victim to a ring dinger, has immediately had their life changed and their soul rocked.

loving the camera set up
My tiny hometown had a chiropractor that specialized in babies.
Chiropractors at their worst are deadly and at their best they are glorified massage therapists
I'm your 300th liker here & bye.
There's a huge difference between old perverts groping and paralyzing their clients with fake medicine and someone who is a pediatrician and uses physical therapy rather then breaking baby spinal cords. Good on that pediatrician, sounds like someone who actually just wants people to be happy and healthy.
That’s legit precious and he might’ve saved some babies lives
If a Chiropractor gives you exercises & stretches to do at home after adjustments then you've found a good one.
Which is what a physical therapist does
@Kyler Markle but its not the same, you can't have physical therapy for misaligned bone structure.

A real one would be called a physio.
There is no real one. It's just pseudoscience.
Unbelievable how many believe them.

The majority of what chiropractors treat, or at least good ones, is soft tissue.
I can't recommend it enough it's so worth it
Imagine going to one of these goofballs for an atheletic injury and going from "out for the season" to "Out of life"
I love how he checked his knee reflexes to check if he broke his spine lmao
Imagine going to this goober to fix your back pain and leaving with your legs paralyzed
You know what they say: a ring-dinger a day keeps the not-doctor in pay.
A ring-dinger a day keeps the morticians in pay too 💀

My physical therapist recently did a “full Nelson” on me lol. I didn’t know how goofy it looked, and the poor man had to lift me off the table to get my back to crack lmao
Yea, chiropractors are usually not very popular amongst us physical therapists. Unfortunately it's often people with very sketchy educational backround that just do the same practices on every person even though they're compeltely healthy and manipulations (the things chiros do) are often dangerous if you don't know EXACTLY when to do them and why
"Woman begs chiropractor to stop"
*HE DOESN'T* lmao
the stretched out videocam of charlie is too much. i can’t stop laughing

it’s gonna become a meme where u just speed it up and put some text above it saying “Reddit”
It reminds me of that one Kanye meme with the way he looks towards the camera lol
I know, it made this youtube night so much funnier
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this particular video, it never gets old. Comedy at it's finest right here.
You have to love the leg trick where he pulls one shoe off a half inch to make it seem like he could correct it in minutes.
I’m no chiropractor, but I wouldn’t think a crazy neck adjustment should be done with some random white towel
I wish all these bots to go to fucking hell jesus christ
Truth. I understand this stuff a bit and that guy is insane. He's just popping joints and pressing on nerves like it's a spa treatment. The thumbs in the cheeks is for treating headaches and helps me a lot, then he is adjusting the shit out of the lower back for no reason. Using a towel or anything other than your hands to adjust the neck is dangerous. You have to be able to feel the exact vertebrae you are targeting and feel exactly how much pressure to apply.
Haha the guy with the hammers/island boys I think has patented a “safety” strap to do it with now
@@chimkinnougat6692 super awesome how knowledgeable you are on this kind of stuff, it’s only a matter of time before this guy seriously injures someone
"He's cracking her fingers" No babe, he's ripping her fingers off her fucking hand.
Greg's been dinged one too many times 🤣🤣🤣
11:55 he has a left durfield postive durfield on the left, and a postive, nochlis test with lumbosacrumsachreleac tightness 👍
I love how he says “you’re still kicking” as they scream in pain like a father telling his kid to rub some dirt on it.
I couldn’t take that bro I would’ve left
I would only trust a “chiropractor” that’s a certified physical therapist as well as a chiropractor.
You could just remove the chiropractor part altogether. Physical therapists actually deal with science that has been proven to work better than placebo. Imagine living in the current year and not using double blind experiments to prove a procedure actually has any medical benefit. We might as well go back to thinking Zeus causes all lightning storms.
@@blablabla7796 yeah I feel you I just think the cracking joints can be temporary pain relief that’s alright if it’s accompanied by actual physical therapy. Just my opinion though that shit feels good.
@@blablabla7796 Zeus does cause all lightning storms so I don't get what your point is.
@@choccymilk8845 lmao
Well some chiropractors have actual certification and actual good training, but most of the ones who post on yt are just nut jobs. Alot of people going to school for chiropractics hate these guys who do "ring dinger" and shit
I always thought it was a scam until I got a pinched nerve two months ago and could barely walk. I went to a good chiropractor one time and I can walk without pain now. Of course the scam is that some of them try to get you to go 3 times a week for as long as you're willing to pay
can we appreciate his webcam quality for a minute he looks like a meme this entire video
