Interesting and good to know, probably why one of the teeth on the starter recoil completely broke off on my poulan 3400. Aftermarket recoil I had bought was horrible and started slipping after the first start, better to spend extra money and buy a remanufactured, original style one; and to my knowledge you can swap a 3400 recoil and flywheel to a 4000 one, to have a stronger, metal, recoil.
@@timbarden4578 what are you talking about? I specifically said that it’s not important to do on modern saws but it doesn’t hurt. So what is your point exactly?
With all due respect you don't have a single video on your channel doing or saying anything so how can you tell someone how to do stuff when you don't.
@@demetriogranados3879 Sadly you have the mentality of a dum-azz teenager thinking you know more than what you actually do. Just because a person doesn't have their own videos listed in a particular channel, doesn't mean they haven't done any on their other channel.
Good information thanks for sharing this .
Your welcome, any other questions I can help answer

@@mastermason4766 there’s a good chance, those old recoils are pretty fragile

@SomeGuysSawShop not sure if you have done any chain sharpening videos but I like learning from different people about that.

With all due respect, you need to work on how to not keep pausing every 3 words
Yeah probably
@@SomeGuysSawShop
Its no different than how I had to stop saying "uuuumm" every 3 words when I would talk in front of people
@ if I actually planned my videos out more it would help but

If you're going to make videos, invest in a $10 tripod.
Probably should
