- 13 अप्रैल 1919 की तारीख भारत के इतिहास में मायने रखती है. ब्रिटिश सरकार के रॉलेट एक्ट के विरोध में जलियांवाला बाग में इसी दिन एक सभा की गई थी. जनरल डायर के हुक्म पर यहां भीड़ पर चलाई गई गोलियों में कई लोग मारे गए और जख्मी हुए. जलियांवाला बाग की घटना को 100 साल से ऊपर हो चुके हैं. और जलियांवाला बाग के 100 वर्ष पूरे होने पर इसका नवीनीकरण किया गया था. जलियांवाला बाग परिसर के जीर्णोद्वार ने इसका रूप बदल दिया है. नवीनीकरण पर लगातार चर्चा और बहस हो रही है.

Wrong fact Udham Singh killed michael o'dwyer he is a Indian Civil Service officer and later the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, British India, between 1913 and 1919. It was during O'Dwyer's tenure as Punjab's Lieutenant Governor that the Jallianwala Bagh massacre occurred in Amritsar, on 13 April 1919

I'm an not shocked at all. ASI has always been pathetic at preservation. This isn't just a Modi govt. thing - it's ASI and it's work culture. It seems like they removed some gawdy modifications (like the crown around the well, that was added by ASI) and added their own gawdy stuff.

जलियावाला बाग म एक बोर्ड के माध्यम से ये भी बताना चाहिए कि डायर को सम्मानित किसने किया था इस नरसंहार के बाद किसने उसे सरोफा उपहार म दिया था ओर क्यों सालो तक उसकी फोटो स्वर्ण मंदिर म दशकों तक लगी रही ये सब भी बताना चाहिए ताकि गद्दारो का भी पता लग सके।।
