- Kaleigh and Summer explore the Poltergeist maze at Halloween Horror Nights 2018 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Based on the classic 1982 film by director Tobe Hooper and producer Steven Spielberg, Poltergeist will take you inside the iconic ghost story that set the bar for paranormal thrillers ever since.
After moving to their new home in sunny Southern California, the Freeling family discovers that dreams can come true-and that nightmares can too…
One stormy night, their youngest daughter, Carol Anne, begins talking to strange, ghostly voices through a dead signal on the television set. When Carol Anne disappears, the family slowly comes to realize that she has been abducted by vengeful spirits occupying the spectral plane between the world of the living and the realm of the dead. What the Freeling family doesn’t know, is that their house was built over an old cemetery and they are in mortal danger!

I love how this maze is from the 1982 version of Poltergeist, instead of the new
Yupp best version of it as well
AWAREDIAGRAM 680 Indeed
Because the 1982 version is the BEST one, not that crap of remake.
FXCA Studios Obviously! Nothing can outmatch the originals
YEah they did a pretty good job with it and that skull was amazing :)
anyone else binge watching these types of videos
Yes because i am too whimp to go to the houses myself. I don't like feeling enclosed but I do love the scare zones
yup bc i really want to go this year i never been to universal studios
Nope same
I’m too scared to do it so I WATCH IT
merci i am trying to not think of boy struggles and get in the mood for Halloween
Do they not scare you if you bring a camera?
*brings camera*
This one is way better/creepier than expected.. wish they had put more effort in the Halloween 4 one
David Velez my favorite one probably has to be monsters
3:12 he had some snazzy movements
Arya indeed 😂
I came out of this maze in tears because I was literally walking through one of my childhood movies. It was amazing and my favorite maze this year by far. 80’s all the way!!
This is exactly what I went through. Heaven would be walking through this house over and over for eternity.
HHN stop using blank black walls challenge
Chris King HHN: “never heard of her”
100
They did better with that in Orlando where almost everywhere you looked there was theming and distractions from where the scares are coming from
@Ashley Settle Yes but for HHN Orlando beats Hollywood by a landslide.
They had low budget so thats why.
LOVED it but idk how I feel about all those black walls
Those giant skull 💀 heads are everything 🙌🏻
Jonathan Bebop yes! We went last night and that was the best part of the maze!
thanks! I worked that exact skull
This was way better than Stranger things. It was very true to the original movie with really good scares.
Her jeans give me pure anxiety
Are you kidding me?!?!?
GalaxyGirl UnicornLover
Sadly I’m not kidding you
Why
What a sensitive snowflake
YES. THE KING OF HHN POV IS BACK. I’ve avoided watching others just to see yours 🎉
Princess Almond Eyes deijiki is another good one but he will only take 1/4 of the haunted house
Who’s the real King ... whoooo..??
Mitch or Jeff or Bruce or Mike ..?
My father ..??? And who else .. Bruce ... Mitch
Omg this is my favorite scary movie of all time! They did an awesome job at keeping this authentic. Love it!
Can we just talk about how poorly these actors/actresses are being treated? They aren't being treated like crap by the partners but by Universal its self. There is no gap between groups so these people don't have time to get back in place which ends ruining the scare. Universal is just bushing people through so they get people through, this is the kind of stuff that happens when haunts get to big, the scare dies and it gets laughed at. it may actually be scary if they knew how to not just push people in for the numbers.
Pushing, not bushing
With as many people that go to universal Halloween event its hard not to rush people. Each line is almost 2 hours long. If they took smaller groups and let people not rush it would be 3to 5 hours per haunted house
3:12 when the clown just gotta skake it off 😂
The girl in the gray shirt talks like a classic valley girl. :) As for the attraction, that was pretty decent. The giant skull and closet spectre were the best.
No one:
Not even a single soul:
Me:That clown was cute in 3:14. :3
The clown is my absolute favorite and LOVE the skulls as well! Amazing!
This is my favorite maze and it’s so amazing and scary. I just hope that they fill in that odd gap of black walls and no scares after the face peeling guy.
Nice maze, only issue is that 1/2 is just blank black walls that aren't scary lol.
Poltergeist is one of my favorite horror movies. Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper did a great job with the movie
Makes me want to watch the movie again! “You only moved the headstones!” 💀 💀
Heather O’rourke would’ve love this.
Rip little one.
1975-1988
So would Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper.
4:47 their hairs are standing up...
They did an awesome job with that maze. So cool to walk through it last night.
I love this movie so much and this maze did so much justice to it :) The clown and the tree was always the scariest parts to me, but the one that I was really surprised to see was the kitchen, the monster, and the guy who assisted with detecting where Carol Anne was. Especially the guy. I always felt bad for him at that part of the movie and I'm so happy I got to see him be apart of the maze :)
I love u Kaleigh and summer
SOOOOOO many black walls in the beginning
Wow!! Looked amazing. Loved, loved, loved the replica versions of the rooms - just like being there!! Awesome!!
Omg if only we had that in UK theme parks! Looks amazing! I love the movie poltergeist!
You gotta admit, when it comes to Halloween,Universal does not disappoint.
Theming is everything and this is on point.
I was super excited to see how they would do the original poltergeist. It’s more creepy than a “scary” movie in my opinion
This has to be the coolest house yet! So creepy and true to the movie
Man SHarp got the best videos for these mazes.
I just went to HHN Hollywood last night, and by far the spookiest effect of any maze were the floating skulls in this one. So scary and fun.
The scariest part of it all are her low-rise jeans
Yasmine Larios I agree 100%
Agreed
They are fantastic
Yasmine Larios like yes
momo
I really like that skull thing.
I wish i had that ib my room but smaller
This is amazing and cool
LOVEEEE ITTT
Make part 2 and just have Caine follow ppl. That’s terrifying alone!
this movie has always scared the crap out of me
jesus camera quality nowadays is just insane
I went this year (2018) to Universal too and did all the Mazes, this one was my favorite tbh, I liked the anamatronic creatures, giant skull etc.
This was actually so cool
I think out of all the mazes of 2018 of Halloween horror nights the poltergeist maze was the scariest I’ve went through.
Out of all of them this one was the scariest one
I like to go to the mazes that has loads of people inside before me because I feel more safe lol
Looks cool!
That was cool how they used carolanne theme song in the house
Best maze ,,always do front of the line this year VIP experience so worth it less walking great time
that looked great
I love Heather o' Rourke.
u guys always has the best content👍👌🏻
I always love your camera work.
This comment is late but it is nice to have the girls in your videos it seems like an adventure of two people in your videos! They have quite a character and despite the slack they get just ignore it and keep them in! -A fan of Sharp Productions
I know Kane made his first appearance in PGII, but come on....if you used PGII as the mazes theme there would have been so much scare potential. Especially the cave, have Kane preach to the people in one scene and the next cave scene it shows his corpse.
My favorite part is
_Son of b*tch, you left the bodies and moved the head stones. YOU LEFT THE BODIES AND ONLY MOVED THE HEADSTONES!_
Pretty cool
Let's all admit it, everyone that watches these want to see what the haunted house is like without having to actually go through it.
I just watch for pure enjoyment.
I can totally imagine a horror movie with a ending saying YOU’VE BEEN PRANKED
Yes they cool to watch
Amazing content and video quality, guys! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of camera do you guys use to film?
Nice vid
im just gonna say, these videos make the maze look superrr bright. When i went in, it was so dark you coudnt see anything so when a scareactor pops out at you its really scary and suprising. In this video, you can see when the scaractor is coming but trust me when you get to the maze, you will shit ur pants hahaha
2:05 after the tour is over. Man: Why did I tear off my face for real?!!
The man’s name is Marty.
Okay so far the most scariest maze .. I’m going next month so this maze will be on my go to list
I’ve never seen this movie but I know it’s scary
Good times 😊
The Knott’s maxes seem soo much better
Stop walking backwards and maybe you won't run into people lol
Stop pushing her into the walls ... and pulling her ... just walk ..!!!!
I agree, they are so rude!
@@AprilBaranski They could literally stop somewhere and give their review of the house instead of constantly tripping and hitting into things/people.
*watches hhn vid* Omg that seem so fun! *goes to hhn* MOM I WANNA GO BACK TO BED PLEASE
Très belle vidéo
Their camera guy is brave to be going through these mazes with them
Omg the girl in the orange I can’t with her outfit.... who walks out of the house and thinks that’s cute? Those jeans...
She looked great!
Poltergeist.... Hmmm OMG I REMEMBER THAT MOVIE ITS SO SCARY AND SO GOOD FOR A 1900 o.o
I've never seen this or heard of this but I thought it would be interesting and I probably missed a lot of stuff that was important lol
Not enough flying stuff
Can you keep posting videos I love scary stuff
Honestly I'd love to just stay there to just listen to the theme song. I love that songxp. Like back off actors with ur jumpscares. Geez im just tryna listen to the music XP
Edit: K I actually went in and when i reached 3:43 of the maze, i frickn ran thru dat shet. Ah hayl nah. I already bad things fina happen in that setting so i unlatched from my friend's arm, ran from my group, like gotta blast✌✌😂😂
It's remind me to a little piece of Simi Valley it's where the original poltergeists house is. Still the original owners of the house live there.
Wow.
Oh good, I was really worried that they weren't going to do the orifice closet.
Why don’t the jump scares ever go for the camera man?
hey sharp r u ready for 2019
Espero pronto pongan subtítulos en español a sus vídeos. Seria genial :)

Nice job with corpses in the coffins. They look real
I went there it was so scary and fun my fav was the trick or treat and the walking dead
Looks excellent, I hope to get there soon
love this girls make a live stream from the park to unteract wyth us
Love summer and kaleigh there awesome
I feel like Hollywood puts a lot more work into creating a realistic facade to go into than Orlando. All you get at Orlando is walking into sound stages with blank walls. Wish I could experience Hollywood this year.
lol...the facades are IN the soundstages along with the actual house.
a dude Yeah I’m aware. I went every night opening weekend. The poltergeist facade is very cool and so is scary Tales. However, Halloween 4 has absolutely no theming, just a white room. Also, Trick r Treat and Blumhouse both just have minimal decor.
I've been to Orlando 5 times this year, while I agree that Halloween and Blumhouse are 2 bad houses, there are always going to be those two terrible houses, (Saw and BLumhouse from last year) but our houses like Poltergeist, Stranger Things, and the Originals are 10x better than Hollywood, a lot less black walls.
This seems so backwards to me. Hollywood has so many hallways of plain black walls. The poltergeist house in Orlando blows this one away. The trick r Treat house also has a ton of beautiful set design in multiple scenes . I feel like we went to different events based on this comment
Rachel I’m talking about just the outside facades, not the actual inside design.
Can’t wait to go to that maze when o go to hhn
The haunted house was scarier than the actual movie
happy 40th anniversary!!
Poltergeist: I am your father.
You: Nnnnnoooooooooooo!
Me: LOL XD I'm joking.
Was I the only one who inthe works that said “ there here ... and talked them and put my hands on the fuzzy television ..? Did I do that ..? Was I coached ..? Or did I just do it out of nowhere ?
Did other kids do it ... or just me...? Only me right ..? Inspiration..? Or not me ..?? “ There here ...” !!! Were u filming me doing that ..? Or just told producers the story ..? Was there really graves underneath the house ..? No ghost in the house right .. ? Not real ones ..? Was she me in real life ... doing that to the TV...? I kinda remember... not sure ?!! Tell me am I the inspiration for the poltergeist girl .. am I the only one who did that to the tv talked to it like that ..? And why did I ..? I wasn’t taken in the closet or a different zone ..!!
It was me wasn’t it ..??? And the ET girl and the close encounters of a third kind whatever... the little boy walking outside ..!!!
@@emiliesmith9403 k
Sorry about that.
if there's a poltergeist in real life...call the ghostbusters!!
How long will this attraction last?
0:23 the guy in the back is killing me
1:30 lmao i would have been out
