- I've compiled all (most of) the QTEs (Quick Time Events) in Sonic boss fights from the video games. This includes multiple versions of the same game such as Sonic Unleashed for the 360 and PS2, or Sonic Colors for the Wii and Nintendo DS as a few examples. Unleashed had peak QTEs, they are fast and fun, I mean that 60x times in Perfect Dark Gaia is crazy

You have to have a good amount of speed to answer that QTE

good spectacle, but they were all just press or mash the 'x' button. i think they could've varied it with different buttons too

I agree man, this game will always and forever will be my favorite, the werehog makes this game unique as well, and i don’t understand why so many people hate the werehog so much
Did anyone know that you can finish Time Eater(Xbox 360) as Classic Sonic before this video? I certainly didn't. I knew you could deal damage as Classic Sonic, which surprised me, but not that you could finish off the Time Eater.
I didn't think anyone knew so I snuck it in there. I think it might be a glitch though since the graphics and models start bugging when you clash against the giant ball.
This made me realize how fucking cool it would be for someone to mod a custom dark Gaia boss into frontiers (not bc of the QTEs lol)
Awesome video man, very interesting stuff. My favorite would definitely be Unleashed because they weren’t So easy on the timing and the Spectacle was the Best in the Franchise.

i swear frontiers did super sonic some real justice showing what is capable off, you can tell that some off them might even watch or might have watched some sprite battle animations on youtube.
Was Rush really the first game to have QTEs?
Why did you include the QTEs that were scrapped in the Supreme fight in Sonic Frontiers? They aren't in the final game itself normally, they were restored by modders.

True but you gotta admit the Double Boost is a pretty great mechanic, I hope they bring back the custom character in future games 🙂
That sonic colors ds qte against the egg nega wisp was so hellish i had to ask my cousin to do it for me because I couldn't mash fast enough first time around, lol

The Qte in the base game isn’t Supreme shooting AT Sonic, but loading him into the gun and shooting him AWAY.
