- Certified as one of the top five #haunted houses in #Florida, the May-Stringer Historical House is a 4 story, seven gable, gingerbread trim, 14 room “Painted Lady” Victorian era home overlooking the City of #Brooksville on Florida's Adventure Coast, Brooksville-Weeki Wachee. There are rooms devoted to specific themes such as an Elegant Dining Room, Victorian Bedrooms, Military Room, an 1880’s Doctor’s Office, and a 1900s Communication Room. The house is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The May-Stringer House is a popular site for #paranormal investigators, and many believe it’s one of Florida’s most haunted homes. Other #ghosts rumored to haunt the historic structure include Marena May, Dr. Stringer’s patients, a World War I soldier, and an angry spirit known as Mr. Nasty.
#Ghost tours are offered by appointment on Friday & Saturday nights. Participants must be at least 16 years’ old. Hand-held devices are permitted, such as: Digital Recorders Cameras & EMF meters.
Individual Tours are $20.00. The tour is two (2) hours 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
During the first hour a docent will take you through the house and tell you about actual evidence collected over the years. During the second hour you can revisit any area of the house and conduct you own investigation! A fun evening for a great cause.

This is all definitely true. I got touched on my back by the spirit in the Attic during a tour once..
Been there a few times to do night time investigations and everything Bonnie said is true. Was touched by the ghost named Jimmy and the feeling on the third floor is very creepy. Saw a trunk levitate about 2 inches and slam back down. Very real stuff going on there.
I wonder if at 0:15 seconds that was a real person in the bottom window walking past or a ghosty. It looks like a shadow figure!

Yesss I seen the lady in the kitchen . I was in the Drs room and I looked up and saw her apparition walking from the dining room to the kitchen. Before I knew about her and all your photo evidence now. I thought I was seeing things. Craziest thing is I feel more calm and peace up in the attic with Gary and the spirits verses that 2nd floor room that's considered James room. Last night's tour I had alot of playing with the back of my hair it was such a crazy feeling , yet Soo cool
