60 and 70s we liked all kinds of music, from folk songs to Motown, jazz, Rock and Disco.
While it was called spoken word Gil had a song called The Revolution Will Not be Televised that was a strong social commentary that got a lot of play on early album oriented Roch stations It was rap before rap was a genre
