even if you have less characters,
-for the operative boss at round 3 its easily clearable with jean
-for the pyro flying bird, you gotta have furina or yelan or at least neuvi
-and for the purple boss at least one natlan character
jeans pyro aura swirl is nice
im ar 60 and skipped every natlan character, cleared the papilla easily with xingqiu, neuvi, yelan, and kokomi, other characters you could substitute (that i didnt personally try in the theater but i later tested and did work) are clorinde/any catalyst (sub for neuvi), and xiangling/kazuha (sub for any of the others)

While many people prioritize inviting characters, I depend on buffs, after all I don't have many characters. Today I had to start over because in the end there were only three characters left.

Well you can build your current ones and I think you should have enough to easily clear up till hard mode, coz it was the same for me and I have just been playing for about 8 months now completely f2p with average builds. The visionary mode is gonna take some proper investment ig....
@dust10 been playing since 2020 and I can only complete act 8 since I mostly pull for cons instead of new characters

Every time you beat a boss you should get one of the elemental reaction upgrades for free.
or maybe make the powers weaker, give them more potential upgrades, and you get one after every battle at no cost
i just pick what looks cool for me i have no idea how it actually works ^^
easiest imaginarium theater ever so far, zoomed thru this in 15 min with half of the cast at lvl 70

This time therater was so easy at hard mode for me because i had 20 characters for it someday i will do 10 stages when i will have like 26 characters 😅
You literally only need 2 more characters for visionary mode. Just spend 2-3 days to farm boss for lv 70
Yea this cycle for the theatre is the easiest one fr. Since it's release this is the first time that I had enough chars for hard mode and I tried hard mode for the first time and it went like a breeze. At the end I even had 3-4 main dpses with proper supports like Furina and kazuha left. Going to try the visionary mode after I get my Sucrose to lvl 80...
@dust10 honestly u dont need lv 80 supports. You just need sufficient dps for hard stages, which is stage 3,6,8,10 for boss fights and decent aoe like xiangling for stage 5 and 7. Stage 4, which is defense ley line is easiest if you pick solo enemies as you only need to stall the enemies long enough for the timer to finish, no need to even beat a single enemy. So, you can finish this pretty easily if you have at least 2 main dps for boss. Also, no need to use strong supports for the main dps as their dmg is generally strong enough to beat bosses
I like the theater byyt anyway i havent built almsot every of my char not even Bennet 😅 or someone else

I think it’s the fact you need 14-20 sets of different artifacts to make most of these charters useful, on top of the fact if you barely invested into one element-Pyro for me 😭, that makes the theater really frustrating. They should allow characters to share artifact sets AT THE LEAST.
Or offer a temporary baseline artifact set for other characters you don’t heavily invest in just for the sake of the theater.

I have 1 pyro five star: dehya and 1 electro 5 star: keqing, and keqing is my only ever 50/50 loss
