😮 You think so?? I did think about it for a while, but I wasn't sure if I'd make a good one 😅 Thank you so much for saying that, though. It means a lot. I'll be adding it to my list of possibilities in the future! ❤️

This was a great video. I've not been doing so well with my business and it's beginning to bring me down. You've inspired me to keep pushing myself and to discover more creative ways of making money. I'm excited to know that you have been working on advancing in your career.
I felt the same when I worked for other companies. I'm a hard worker, but I never felt the need to expand my knowledge in the company I was working in. Now I know it's because I simply wasn't interested.
I've started to learn more artistic and business skills using skillshare. Even though I have to pay for it, I don't feel like I am wasting my money as I am investing in myself!
    Again, great video!

      Bare with me here,
Whether your business is going good, or not what you've expected to be... just remember this ; you have something that some people don't have. I'm sure somebody who is unhappy at their current workplace due to work-life balance is wondering what if they could start their own business. (And possibly more questions similar to that)
I also blame social media on why some businesses or content creators are not getting recognized often for the exception of UA-cam. I don't know if some of you know, but before social media came to play, people were passing out business cards whenever and wherever the occasion. In my opinion, I think social media was created to replace the hard work but now it's being taken over by users posting irrelevant shit. Even the actual media brand tries to push that post over someone else's hard work.
Overall, there are going to be changes here and there. So my advice for anybody is to
      1. Take things slowly. I know this sounds cheesy, but business doesn't just jump the next day. Focus on the small fries, and it'll all come together.
      2. Take care of yourself, and do the best you can do.

@@ohshiet6726 Thank you so much for your words of encouragement! I forgot to be kind to myself sometimes. Yes, social media is the worst! I've been trying to cut down my usage as it really affects my mental health. Soical media has push out the hard work the comes into a business and makes everything look so easy! It's totally misleading.
I really needed this. Thank you again 🙏🏾

It's so rough being self-employed! Reminding myself of why I started this path in the first place is what helps me get through the hardships. Nobody said this was going to be easy. But that's what makes it worth trying because we're worth it. It's always a good idea to think outside the box to get you closer to where you want to be. Skillshare is a great tool! I was thinking of investing in that myself. It's always the problem with picking what I'm interested in xD But that's the fun of it. You never know unless you try. Thanks for reminding me about it. I'll open a tab right now so I don't forget again 😄 Thanks for always watching and commenting, Mary. You help push me to keep going with creating, too!

@@ohshiet6726 Thanks for your input on Mary's comment! I agree with everything you said. Clearly I'm an example of how trying to make social media content creation a full-time career isn't "1-2-3" for everyone. This is still a very unorthodox way of making money, but it does make it worth trying because there are so many more and different opportunities to make money these days, as compared to years ago. I hope people who want to pursue this path would just create first and not worry about everything else until later, because the hardships that come with this type of work are enough to make anyone quit before they even start. So definitely the 'taking care of yourself' part is crucial to one's success. It's a long-winded journey, but it's a marathon, not a sprint!
