Great reaction! Eminem has always had 3 personas on his tracks; Marshall Mathers, Eminem, and Slim Shady. With Kamikaze he finally merged them all together. The entire album is pure gold. He's reached the Super Saiyan God level of rap.

I'm bout 11 months late over here, but just had to say......I've heard this song at least 100x. I know every bar, every insult, all the reasons behind each dis, all the jokes, all the lyrics, everything.....and I'm sitting over hearing it like so many times before, and I think it was watching these guys react to it for the 1st time, and over here shaking my head side to side, like "Are you fucking serious right now? I was a junior in high school when the Slim Shady LP dropped. I'd never heard anything like it before. Almost 25 years later and I still haven't. Em is one of a kind.

I had Tupac 1 for a long time but once he came out with this I was finally ready to put Em over him… didn’t think I would ever do it honestly
It’s impressive how he manages to properly articulate while rapping so fast
The trick is to bounce back n fourth between vowel sounds and consonants. If a word (or syllable) ends with a vowel sound the next word needs to start with a consonant and vice versa. It doesn’t come out as smooth if you double vowel sound or double consonant. There are some exceptions but that’s the general rule when it comes to chopping (rapping fast).

I always thought a huge part of listening to Em was knowing the era that the music came out in. From funny goofy Marshall, to pissed Shady, to the low drug days, and then this is his post addict days start. It's like the fricking heroes journey. This album was made after the criticisms regarding the album before this called Revival.
His intention for the album was to lend his voice to things he found important, while trying to say he is human and makes mistakes.
People claimed he lost his edge. Thus this album.
The nostalgic among us may disagree, but this is maybe the best song/rap Eminem ever gave us. 🔥🔥🔥

This was partly a response to critical reviews of his previous album, Recovery. Em loved it from a technical standpoint, but the songs weren’t easy to listen to, and it got destroyed by alot of critics
