heavy, it's atmospheric, the lyrics are darker than anything Trent's
written since then; all I can say is it's a grand return for Reznor
(with the help of Atticus Ross, of course). I eagerly await more Nine
Inch Nails in 2017.

Same dude Burning Bright was my anthem when I was at my lowest. This trilogy helped me get through a fucked up suicidal time
due to my own experiences, i've always percieved this song as being about a victim finally able to reclaim themselves and recognize that their abuser isn't in control anymore. it just has this energy of empowerment found in the wake of destruction.

Very atmospheric and textured. Feels straight out of The Fragile era. It's pretty inaccessible, but I love it.

Seriously, I know how you feel. It's like they pick every ten minute Tool song to throw at you. It's not that I don't like Tool... but if I wanted to listen to that much Tool I would create a Tool station.
I dropped Pandora when local car dealership advertisements were being played after 2 or 3 songs....fuck that. I use IHeartRadio now, its so much better.
Their called cds, buy them, support artists, no longer be pissed it's not what you want.

one can love the experimental nature of this album, I have been a NIN fan since the early 90s when I was still a kid and throughout the album you can notice familiar melodies and tones from previous eras. This song is very uplifting and empowering, especially to those beat up and kicked down this year. Awesome.

There was heaviness in the last album, i honestly don't know what the fuck your sort listen to NIN through, but that album had emotion, it had rawness, just because it wasn't so gritty doesn't mean it wasn't heavy. fuck half of this track i can't even make out.
Let's be honest. It was A LOT more lighter and electronic then your normal NIN, but it got a little more raw near the end though, especially the track "In Two".
But 2016 NIN is pure anger, it's all coming back with a mix of the "Broken" era, "The Downward Spiral" era and 'The Fragile" era.

I've been listening to this song on repeat for an hour now. Every now and then a tear will sneak down my cheek. I grew up on NIN. My mother had a huge crush on Trent. She'd play other bands too like Korn, Rob Zombie, Orgy, Tool, and of course Marilyn Manson. Sometimes I'd come home to her having a few drinks binge watching tour DVDs on usually NIN Korn and Marilyn Manson. Some of the best memories I've ever had with her. When I was 17 I found her face down with a can of air duster. I'll never be the same but music really calms me. It takes me back to the good days. Thank you Mr. Reznor.

This song catches the atmosphere and mindset of losing touch and falling into the abyss only to see a pinhole of light far in the distance, enough light to keep getting up everytime I fall knowing it doesn’t have to be this way forever.

The song was a little intimidating initially, but once the bridge and chorus both kicked in, it really started to shine. After a few listens, I'm in love with it.

Trent, I appreciate that touring can be a stressful and taxing ordeal, and that you have several new musical experiments that you want to focus on, plus a family to raise.
