We need much more patches built from scratch with information of what is going on. I am totally new to voltage modular, and it is incredibly interesting, but also incredibly difficult to understand for a novice. I appreciate the job venus theory is doing.
try searching for some modular synthesis basics tutorials (i'm not sure if you meant you're new to the topic in general or this plugin itself). i know andrew huang has a wonderful video on it and when you get back to these here it'll make much more sense
Nice, I'm actually applying this video directly to my (hardware) modular synth and it's very useful. some of it was good review and others remind me to use more FM synthesis in my drums :)
The feeling of relief when you look up how to make “modular drums” and it’s not some Northern European or German guy - it’s fucking DAW bingeing with babish Venus theory😮💨
My main question after this is how do you run all these sounds through a sequencer to create a beat? As of right now I'm using a 4 step drum module, which is good but its really simple and doesnt offer much other than a basic beat. I also cant plug a clock into it which is pretty detrimental.
So I've got a question. Cherry Audio, or voltage modular. I'm interested in purchasing a starter set up. My question is will it work well with or in my MPC studio 2.5 DAW? The reason I'm asking is I've bought a couple of plugins that would not work in it. So anymore before I purchase anything that has to be checked out 1st. I already have a couple of modular pieces. Plus I'm old and just having lots of fun with my midi and modular stuff.
Hey there! It appears that MPC Studio does offer VST support so you should be able to run Voltage Modular inside of it! However, you might contact their customer support first to double check in case there are any potential or know compatibility issues.

Glad the video was helpful! We'll have more soon!
Dude. How is it you got so good at this? Did you go to school for this or just really liked sound design?
No homo, but that's a cool voice dude. Relaxing
You just watched a video where a dude with that "voice" took the shrillest noises and turned them into musical instruments...
