Honestly, i was ok with the monthly update videos, you shouldnt apologise for going awol while making a mod/doing testing etc etc, while updates are always nice on a more consistent basis, i assume i speak for most people and say that we understand the no communication spaces xD
The one overhaul I want, nay need over all the rest. The fact there are so many improvements over the last version which was already so damned good.
Wooo playthrough! Love the minimap, and the doggo seems to react a lot better now, also handy being able to see who owns a storage unit. So very keen to play this. Thank you for continuing to do amazing work!

Thank you so much for this video Sir. Watching your update videos and seeing all the changes and new stuff, my mind has been going overdrive with questions lol. How does this work, how does that work, where do i get this or that etc for basically everything in the mod and thanks to this video series, many of those questions will be answered. I absolutely adore Rebirth. I dont have the words to express my appreciation for all the work and time and money you've put into it and how much enjoyment its brought me. And from the looks of it, continue to bring me. Super looking forward to the next episode.

I'm so looking forward to this. This was my favorite mod of A20. I missed it in A21 and the ones that had NPCs didn't have the polish that Rebirth has. Keep up the awesomeness.

The challenges in 1.0 are just a better way of doing the tutorial. I know overhaul MOD players already have the base game down, so I hope you put in challenges that help with the MOD. Like the way you called your dog back, I could never remember the key to do that.

First, your overhaul is my favorite, and I can't wait to jump back in when it's ready! On to my comment: I've ranted before that the rate of food/drink depletion (and the little return for eating early game) detracts from the rest of the game (exploration, building, etc). It just seems too drastic and not well-tuned. Why are humans more ravenous than zombies in an apocalypse? :)
I discovered the issue was me: I always change my days to 90 minutes, which throws off the rates of depletion. I now know where to go edit the .xml files to make it more "realistic." But... is there any thought to adding a setting to adjust this in the game menu without the need for editing the xml files? Maybe a percentage-based setting for people like me who think 60 minutes is too short for a day cycle?

I would love to showcase this MOD with a playthrough of my own. What do we have to do to get access?
@@SurvivalGamerDad At the moment, patrons can play as I develop, but I don’t want anyone streaming or showcasing given there are too many things to fix or to develop, with the possibility of having to restart with updates.
I’m doing this playtesting just to keep people in the loop as I develop.
You where speaking at the very beginning of how you gain xp, with the players getting less xp is they don't get the final hit. But how is it working with bleeding ?
If you applying bleeding and the bleeding kill the zombie do you get xp as id you where doing it ?
If you got multiple sources of bleeding like an other player or an npc is the last person that reser the bleed that gain the xp ?
@@Wibdrac Consideration for bleeding has been taken into account and will count as a final blow.
Death from a bleed will be based on the instigator of the bleed debuff when the entity dies.
If it’s a hired NPC, the kill will go to the owner of that NPC.

Multiplayer is very stable. Nothing like in A20.
And I know a lot of people say that 7 days to die or 7 days to crash or 7 days to lose your data it's not the same game as State of Decay but why does everybody make mods to make it like State of Decay and State of Decay is a better game by 100%
is the dog immortal? Ive noticed you send the dog to go fight and then do your own thing, like you have 100% faith in it...

@@JeansGaming if the dog dies, it will respawn at your bedroll… which is why putting your bedroll down early is important.
put my stuff in a dumpster and the zombies destroyed it. picked it up and moved it prior. A21 or 20. been a while. no hit bug = NBD with me. do what's necessary to move on and then keep playing. freezing Demos were annoying as their audio didn't stop when they froze. oh well.
your MODS are awesome, can you show what you have done with he bow? and is their a way to put in a multishot crossbow or is that possible? my favorite weapon is the bow but they are lacking with speed and reload. thank you
@@texlougatorbait342 I don’t have a multi-shot bow but if you pick the Hunter and use your bow a lot, your Bow expertise will progress and you will be able to shoot and reload much faster (with bows, not crossbows as their benefit is additional damage).
At level 10, it’s crazy fast. You’ll be shooting like Legolas.
The other benefit of using bows is that they have an increased chance of triggering your auras.

Sony and Microsoft are just as guilty of selling a game that was never finished and not telling anybody about it until the last minute that you won't get the upgrade for free because it's not the same as the game when it was in Alpha but that's a different story Microsoft has a disclaimer on their storefront buy this game only if you're comfortable with the fact that it may never be finished

@@Mbezzina124 Still lots to do, so no idea yet when a public release will be available. The only way to play the incomplete buggy still in development version is by being a patron.

What is the no hit bug?
@@Mullerchiropractic It’s a long one to explain, but in summary it’s when the player can no longer hit zombies and/or vice versa.

Well, those of us who USED to play Hunter have gotten really good at Sous Chef, Butcher and Soldier now, so I suppose it's a win.

why not have shared XP with the puppy?
To not have people rely on it.
The mod is about learning by doing.
You're not learning if you're letting something else do the work for you :)

I like the fact that the vanilla version of this game is so crappy it only works good if you have a mod other than that the vanilla game is simply Skyrim Fallout and Minecraft smashed together with a crappy engine and it will never work so enjoy your upgrades and your payments all over the next four or five years while they work on this crappy game there's not enough polish to shine this turd you know what they say about lipstick and a pig got that saying from this kind of game
