    Thanks for the knowledge sharing. It would be good to have info on why Hong Sau works - and what is the goal here - example if it is getting rid of 5 senses to attain dhyanna state, then I see hong sau as fixing 3 senses (Thoughts by fixating awareness to breathing , touch sense by bringing attention to index finger, speaking by mentally chanting) - is this the case ? I am trying to understand - What's next once you fix these 3 senses - is next step eliminating these fixtures 1 by 1 till you get rid of all senses to attain dhyanna?

    If I have 45 minutes to meditate in the morning, how to split the time between Hong-Sau and OM meditation ?

    • @AnandaWorldwide
      @AnandaWorldwide  Рік тому +5

      You could practice Hong-Sau for 15 minutes, then the Om Technique for 15 minutes, and end with 15 minutes without technique, focusing on the spiritual eye and the inner stillness.

    Flow can help you be more creative and push past your perceived limits. However, entering flow is not as quick and easy as it appears; it takes time to dwell on it. C Wilson Meloncelli channel also discusses additional flow states and provides advice on how to deal with them. You should check out his channel!

    Where is krishna in the altar and why did you remove krishna from the altar?

    • @AnandaWorldwide
      @AnandaWorldwide  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for your comment! We are using the altar which Yogananda himself used - he had no image of Krishna on the altar, because he said that Babaji is an incarnation of Krishna. SRF/YSS added Krishna later around 1958. If you look pictures from the old magazines you can see that. And listen to his prayers on his audio recordings - when he prays to the Masters he puts Babaji and Krishna together, as in "Jesus Christ, Babaji-Krishna, Swami Sri Yukteswar ...." Blessings! 🙏

    To the best of my knowledge, Swami Yukteshwar Giri and Paramahansa Yogananda were Hindu mystics, not Christian, though Christ appeared before PY.
    Your session and its ambience are totally Christianity-based. And so is the invocation at the start of your prayer, "Heavenly Father" as well as the later "image of God".
    I have even seen sessions with the nomenclature "Christian Yoga".
    Have the YSS turned Christian, or is it only you?

      Mean christians are also adapting yoga.Thats good for mankind

    • @shantanujoschi
      @shantanujoschi 2 роки тому

      True. yoganandaji and yukteshwarji adopted christian examples and biblical passages to teach becuase those were the days when no english man or american would listen to you unless you incorporate some christian elements. later daya mata and all other matas highjacked yss srf. they were all ex mormons which is a cult. so they christian washed the whole thing. kriyananda left srf and started ananda but it still holds a lot of christian elements because kriyananda and most early senior members of ananda are ex christian or practice hinduism which considers jesus christ to be a yogi who practised some yogic techniques. so its all kind of mixed up in their heads.

    • @shantanujoschi
      @shantanujoschi 2 роки тому

      also this class is probably conducted in usa . so christian elements are useful to hold their attention.

      @@shantanujoschi Why should Swami Yukteshwar adopt Xtian examples? He was in India.
