Hey darlin - get yourself an old tire tube! Works awesome and lasts a LONG time. Have fun.
What!!!??? Shut the front door! Thanks for the tip! (Me: scours the junk heap for an old tire tube….)
Try going to a tire place and see if they might give you a used one?? :)@@ACoastalMagnolia
How would I use it plz?
@@pattyisspoiled7852 Cut the tube in half. Then you can load in the glass, fold over each end and smash the glass inside with a hammer. I fold one end up and the other end down (protects surface you work on and I believe it helps your tube last longer too.) Easy! :) Have fun!
Sorry - do NOT cut tube length wise in half - cut it across the tube - you will end up with two half moon shapes that are still a TUBE :)
Super easy to remove labels. I use Krud Kutter. (Red label only and I get it from Home Depot.) Spray on, leave for a few minutes, wipe off with disinfectant wipe to remove any residue. Thanks for the tips for crushing glass!!
WHAT!!!!!! Thanks for the tip!
I use a metal pot scraper/scratcher. It is a copper color to scratch labels after they have soaked. Less expensive and no chemicals.
Thank you for sharing. 😊
My pleasure 😊
Aren't the edges of the glass sharp? Most people use a rock tumbler and the edges come out very smooth...like real beach glass...It just looks like cut glass not beach glass? And people are happy with that I guess...Yes...your trees are gorgeous!
I don’t market these as beach glass. I tell people they are made from crushed glass. The edges are not very sharp and are easy to handle. I think it’s because the glass is so thick. You should still use gloves. I’ve had no issues
@ACoastalMagnolia Thank You! I had ordered some crushed glass and saw yours and thought it was a great idea...Your work is so fun and creative and you have a nice, sweet personality...That's great that you sell out at shows like you do...
PS... really enjoy your videos because of your personality and the way you explain things and run your videos...I'm in Boca btw...I see you're down in the Keys...on the beach...Lucky you! I'm a beach person myself! So glad to see you doing so well at shows...Have you seen the Christmas Trees made from Beach glass and shells?! On Etsy? I guess that's a lot more work! They appear to be doing well...Can I DM you? How do you pronounce your name? Are you Polish? My Grandmother's name was "Hedwig"...which is why I noticed yours and thought you might be of Polish descent also...
Hi Again Edwige! I just wanted to let you know that I added some comments after my last one on here...I noticed that you did not reply and was just thinking maybe you didn't see them? Otherwise I will assume that you just didn't want to answer or maybe didn't have time...which is OK! with me ! as I never want to be a PITA for ANYONE! I'm just asking that you let me know...so that I don't do it again if it is something you are not comfortable with...just so I know! All is well...and I wish you much success as usual! You are amazingly talented and creative! ❤
oh my gosh I did not see your replies (to my reply).. I am so sorry! sStill getting used to all of this on you tube, I do try to respond to every comment because that’s just the way I am! Thank you so much for your kind words! I really do have fun at shows, talking to people and having fun. I love to talk to people and brighten their day.
Your funny. Thanks for sharing, really creative!!!!

You're so welcome! But NO way am I wearing those shorts!
Do you ship? What is cost? Also saw your video of shells done with nail polish, do you ship these? What are costs?
Hi, unfortunately I do not have an online shop set up yet, but that is in. y plans!
I’ve gotten cuts on broken glass, how are you handling it without getting glass slivers????
I’m kind of surprised myself that I’m not! it may be because this bottle glass is so thick that I am not getting very many small slivers. I do get a cut now and then.
Thank you for sharing your method.
You are welcome!
