This movie was unbelievable. The chemistry between Erika & Natalie was magical. Talk about suspension of disbelief!!! In addition, the way it was shot....I mean when they looked into each other’s eyes and the way the camera captured that. They both have some of the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. The sex scenes felt REAL....like 2 people who were really in love, not sleazy or pornographic in ANY way 👍🏻

que en as someone in America and with a cinema degree Hollywood is very VERY much still a boys club. Male movies get more money, they're produced far more by males. The fact that Wonder Woman made far more than they expected for live action super hero movie shocked many (and female directed) but Hollywood does not really support women as much as say France does. In a film class the professor said it's basically a miracle if a movie gets made because of the cost. I liked Below Her Mouth but some of the writing made me cringe. The directing was good though. And I want to stress Hollywood is an industry. Canada seems more focused on quality. Just like the food pushed in America. You can fill up on junk.

you do understand that a huge number of american films and tv shows are already produced in canada, right? and it's not like this film is high-quality cinema. it's mediocre acting + sex scenes. i appreciate the appeal, but it's essentially porn with high production values. if not for netflix nobody would have even seen it.
