Purul (Hiimai) youths contesting Miss Paoki || lots of beautiful girls came to Purul Paoki

Purul Paoki is a state tourism festival held every year in the month of May.
It has become the best festival to enjoy.
Many peoples from the neighbouring villages and district came to witness the festival which makes more festivities.
This is a short video of contesting Miss Paoki.

It was my first Paoki experience this year and I must say, it's as wonderful as it's talked about. Though one drawback I'd like to adress is the management of the wrestling match, it could've been better. I was sitting excitedly for the match but the people would always stand around the ring and would block all the view. We asked them to sit many times but none cared. Its sad we couldn’t watch any match without disturbance. The organizers could improve in that area, maybe make a sitting arena for everyone to get the right view.
Overall, other than that it was a nice experience and the people there are very humorous and fun loving. Love the hospitality and food 💖

It's a beautiful festival and I had a good experience but if I were to say bedside Purul is so stingy. I had been to Paoki of several villages including Koide, Oinam, Thimba Khunao and more. They are very generous. If they see a guest walking on the street they would invite the guest for dinner though they are totally different stranger to each other. They provide free wine. But there at purul not even a single soul invites. Wine is for sale and it tastes horrible comparing to other villages free wine. Of all the Paoki festival I have visited Oinam Paoki impress me the most. They prepare a dinner for every guest at their community hall. They provide good free wine as well. Koide villager, almost every household prepare food for guest and if they see any guest passing by they would invite them to eat. How generous of them. Thimba khunao isn't less. One funny thing I learn about purul is that they brought fish from valley area, put it in their field and claim it's purul's fish, like i wonder how much they like to take the credit. 😂🤣
