Everything's going way above my path of understanding. Still no replies from Etoro on my concern as well. I wish there was a way you could mentor me. Email? Or any other mode of communication.
I think the best way to start is to use the play account, that way you can get familiar with the platform and just get a feel of investing. The play account uses real trade data, but the money is fake. So if you make any mistakes there is no real money involved. Unfortunately I don't have time to mentor people, also I would call myself an investing pro 😅

if the stock is not leveraged, then you do own it. If you short or leverage then it's a CFD

Depends on what you trade, for example stocks go up to x5, but commodities up to x100

People should using leverage. If you don't have money and can't face the loss. Stop using leverage
