I feel like Jordan makes a lot of jokes that come across as underrated. Like the editing makes it seem like Jarvis doesn't react? Or maybe Jarvis doesn't react? Sometimes I just yell "that was funny, why aren't you laughing!?" Lol😂

@@jessmtnz haha for sure, hard agree! Jarvis has ADHD (like me), so my assumption has always been that Jarvis was too focused on remembering what he was going to say to notice the ABSOLUTE BANGER JOKES Jordan sometimes sneaks in.

Anaerobic/aerobic refers to cell respiration. The simplified version is: you need a short burst of energy (sprint) your cells do anaerobic respiration (no oxygen consumed), and produce lactic acid. Aerobic respiration involves a series of different reactions in the cell. Loved the podcast!!!

I think the "Southern states" detail adds context as to why she's only thinking about it 11 years later. I'm guessing half the guests didn't care to do their business outside and the other half were very polite to the couple and dragged them behind their backs lol

Just wanted to say that if the house was an acre away it wouldn't be 43,000 feet away, it would be 208.71 feet away. The 43,000 number is the square footage of an acre, not the length

I don’t know where I got this notion, but until just a couple years ago I was confident that Steve Harvey was formerly a pastor
The conversation about fears and those TV shows that prey on phobias makes me think of OutsideXbox/OutsideXtra and how often people will comment wanting Ellen (one of the people on OutsideXtra) to play games featuring spiders despite the fact that it is well-known that she has pretty intense arachnophobia. Andy, one of the other people on the channel, pointed out at one point that it wasn't some "oh ha ha how quirky" kind of thing but a serious phobia and that unnecessarily exposing her to the source of her phobia would be incredibly cruel and not something they'd do to a friend/coworker.
I don't know if people who do those things don't understand how intense a phobia is or if they just don't care, but I really don't understand taking enjoyment out of watching someone be that terrified.
The segment when they discussed their fears hit home! I also have been desensitized to loss because I’ve lost so much. The numbness is there and I end up just saying “it’s okay I got this” and not giving myself the freedom to just feel.

I recently went through my own worst fear come true thing and that little bit where Jordan talked about it was really good for me. Made me feel less alone
i have a HUGE problem with working out where I just end up holding my breath while lifting. I know I should be inhaling when i relax and breath out when i push/pull, but I just CAN'T get the rhythm right. it's so annoying because I KNOW i could lift so much more if I could just breathe normally!!

I think adhd gives us a different experience with skill and talent. Like most things we are good at the extremes, We understand trying something for the first time and looking like a savant and also grinding with all our being to push our selves from nowhere. While neurotypicals have that in between with most things and, you start bad, you practice, you get good. When with us, we can practice and actually get worse at it because we have overanalysed, lost it's novelty, burnt out, etc
Nerd here. Most nights would simply piss in their pants/armor when it came to number two their squire would have to help them in a kinda gnarly way.

I didn’t realise what you were saying at first and when it did click you were joking about those channels that tell you how to pronounce words so I thought it was maybe part of the joke. Except I just googled it and from what I gather Aussies just say it different and I may have never heard a non-Aussie say it before. I’d pronounce it more like “per goal uh” btw.
