It is nice to see that you can still afford to buy a house. So many of them are way out of my price range. The thrill and the drake give me hope that I can become a home owner. Thank you for the video tours.
You are welcome. No question that some of the more expensive models are aimed at High end communities and people who are going with the modular option. There are some great values that are still very nice and practical. Thanks for watching!
@@modularhomehunters8837 I agree and anytime it helped me know what I'm buying and it's also affordable I own a 2014 f150 with the towing capacity of 11,300 3.5 ecoboost engine so I'm buying a brand new travel trailer full size which some know as a rv trailer their a full on house all in a trailer that can be full time part time or just a luxury camper I will be using my new one I plan on buying as my primary residence even though I have my own house looking forward to being able to tow my home everywhere and not being tied to one location

Would you happen to know if those batten boards could be replaced with traditional dry wall? I’m really not a fan of the batten board strips. Hoping I could get someone to remove them and replace it with traditional drywall.
I have seen videos on UA-cam where people have removed the battens and filled the space in with Sheetrock compound. If the walls are vinyl and they have a design or texture to them I don’t know how well it would match, but if the walls are Sheetrock/drywall, if done properly, you will never know where the battens were. Thanks for watching
Hello I have a question about seams. After home setup, should you be able to see a very visible seam where both sections connect? Or should it be invisible? Thanks.
There are basically two options, board close and seamless. A board close is usually done with low profile, decorative trim boards about 4" wide on the wall marriage lines, and slightly larger trim boards on the ceiling lines. Or it might be larger dimensional boards, like 1" X 6" s with a decorative finish such as reclaimed barn or driftwood for the wall lines, and faux exposed beams on the ceiling lines made from the same dimensional material as the 1" X 6" wall boards. A seamless close is finished with drywall tape joints all around and if done well, is invisible. Thanks for watching!
@@modularhomehunters8837 Thank you so much for this information. My mom was looking at a brand new manufactured home to purchase, but it had a VERY visible unsightly bumpy seam line. Creating a shadow even. We were told it would be addressed, but looked just as bad on our final walkthrough, where seller said, “Well that’s as good as it’s gonna get”. We walked away from the deal cause it was alarming to my mom. However, they were making it seem like we were the problem?
$125k including? 🤔 (mobile home dealer in north ga- we sell this for $89,900+tax+9500 delivery +5k hvac + 2k trim out (then we also can do water, electric, septic, grading, permits, decks, etc) 🤔
The price varies based on the options that you choose and your location. Also, the base price for many manufactured homes have increased a lot in the last year due to an to increase in material and labor prices. Please check with a Clayton Home dealer in your area for a current price. Thanks for watching.

Clayton homes are very affordable. They are good entry level houses that without a whole lot of money can be upgraded to look really nice.
I agree. Clayton Homes offer many affordable starter homes, but they also offer some higher end homes too.
