But we, as a fraternity? We do nothing!! We're the most apathetic 90K people in this state - and the police know it. When Pap-Smear announced his BS, I proposed on social media that we should hold a demonstration march to show our disapproval. IF 20K out of the 90K licensed firearm holders in this state marched on Parliament House demanding Pap-Smear to stick his proposals up his arse, I'm sure the Govt would then leave Pap-Smear in the cold, rather than risk losing the next election. The fact remains that if we just keep talking, and take no action - as has been legally done by other minorities - then we DESERVE all the BS that Pap-Smear is trying to force through Parliament.
Unfortunately, there are many things I thought would never happen that are happening every day now. The totalitarians are gaining a lot of ground, and if history serves as a guide to what happens next, it is not good.

Years ago Labor & Liberal colluded to ensure only one of them ever get the last musical chair in Federal elections. At election times (federal and state), "Joel Jammal" on youtube and "Turning Point Australia" investigates each candidate in detail and produces a simple summary chart showing what each candidate believes/wants - which makes it easy to select someone to vote for, instead us of drawing a line through the ballot because we have no idea if they are human or reptile. They also produce voting suggestions for every electorate which deletes votes, preference votes, as well as SEATS and million$ in ELECTION FUNDING from both Labor & Liberal. As those two lose their seats, they also lose the ability to pass any new legislation. And the new people in those seats refuse to vote with them unless they change other laws first. As time goes on word about this will spread (like I'm doing right now), tall poppy syndrome will kick in, and more people will vote this way, abandoning the big two AND any party/candidate who hands Labor/Liberal their preferences. THIS is how we eventually get to change back the laws I mentioned in my first sentence. THEN we might get a government who GOVERNS instead of CONTROLS and ABUSES us.
I feel your pain mate - I've seen the change in our rights in the owning and use of firearms over the last 50+ years. In NSW I can't even use a simple slingshot without being in jeopardy of being branded a criminal. We live in a a controlled state - our criminal colony heritage has never left us.
My Dad use to make sling shots for us kids a forked stick couple strips of rubber from a tyre tube. Everyone had a sling shot good for fine motor skills and aim.

I am a Kiwi, a few years ago I took on a contract in WA which lead to me travelling there once every 6 week for 2 weeks over a couple of years. What surprised me is the rarity of firearms owners in the urban setting (Perth) I only came across one hunter /shooter in the hundreds of guys I worked with. Here in NZ its allot more common. Also very few Hunting specialist shops. My workmate who was curious of my interest in hunting took me too one in our travels. The firearms on display were much like here and I was able to show my mate examples of most of my own firearms the lady behind the counter wasn't busy so allowed me to handle them and show my buddy. You are also correct I noticed that amongst the non-shooting ordinary blokes/tradies/etc who here would be curious or ambivalent they were distinctly anti and the ones who weren't were usually ex Kiwi's. Another interesting thing is the guy who did shoot and hunt, we got on very well at work to the point he offered to take me hunting. I didn't want to? I later worked out I am not interested in just shooting animals and rather its about being part of the ecosystem that I at home live in and understand. I don't understand and don't have a vested interest in your ecosystem hard to explain to a non hunter I guess. Certainly I am pleased with my own Philosophy that I am not a trophy hunter only keen on ticking another species off the list. I am not an Aussie so can't offer anything on your battles but as you know we have similar issues here. So I can commiserate only advice I have to ALL firearms owners where ever you are is be a good ambassador for your sport, if you come across an anti, then engage calmly and explain your sport, same for the many who are curious and just want to know engage and tell them what shooting and hunting really mean to you, dispel the myths with logic and calm reason. Keep up the good fight Mark and Sam.

Preferential voting is ok, but the electoral commission needs to put an end to the parties declaring where their votes go, that’s not how preferential voting works, they shouldn’t have a say where their votes go. Example, how many times have we heard the wanker Greens party say they want their votes going to Labor! That should be stopped in its tracks.
@@axeman2638 It has drawbacks in Tassie. Frequent minority governments mean instability & little accomplished. A government formed (commonly) from 13 MPs means each MP has a tonne of portfolios & responsibilities. Cross-party portfolios means secrets come out. I'm not supporting secretive reign, but governments do need a little privacy & discretion to function. In WA, a majority of 25 would allow ministerial portfolios to be spread broadly, but how can you be assured of quality? The majors struggle to find competent candidates. Imagine all the dingbats appointed under the Hare-Clarke system from minor parties. They attract deadbeats & extremists. Much of a minister's work is often done by his/her staff. Even worse than a dropkick from a minor running an important portfolio, they'd be informed and supported by even more incompetent dropkicks. I foresee that government as one of mediocrity, snail's pace of progress, blunders, and rent by personal squabbles. Preferential voting still delivers the closest to what the majority wants.

The cook government has not only done this to law abiding citizens whom own firearms, but have drafts aimed at land usage in the Darling Scarp (4x4) and South West Beaches, which we have seen with Preston Beach over the Easter break. To spend $64M on gun buyback while there are so many homeless in Perth now is ludicrous. That money could be used to build hundreds of new homes. Labour governments across Australia have done so much damage to peoples well being . It makes you wonder who keeps voting for them.
The entire senate needs to be sacked and also their automatic replacement senate. The politicians are not representing our will. We all need to stop the bullying by all placing a vote of no confidence as no candidate represents our will.
Liberal and Labor are different cheeks of the same arse. Maybe a few licensed dealers could show up at the buyback and offer similar money for a number of firearms, at least the collectable ones. Don’t have to buy many to give the government the middle finger.
Very correct !!!, this government system are taking Right all round. I think the Australian government have become too big for their boots and the whole system “police included “ needs a reset.
They do have a law that says if they think you’re a threat to yourself or anyone they can confiscate your guns. So if someone calls and says you’re a threat regardless if you are not your shit out of luck.

I have never seen this state run by such a totalitarian regime. It is sad that so few people seem to care about it. Come on WA, we need to stand up for our freedoms while we still have some!
Excellent video as always. I wonder has there even been a discussion about a demonstration of firearm/outdoor/ land owners to show even a whim of resistance and presence? I feel very upset about the state of affairs in WA and feel lucky to be in NSW, but I don’t feel we are safe for ever for if nobody can even stand up in WA it doesn’t set up a fighting chance for anyone.
It's the same world wide, it's just taken longer to reach this level in the "western" world. 40 years ago [UK] we had politicians who had been through WW2 and understood what freedom meant and the sacrifices that had been made to ensure that those freedoms were upheld. Looking further back [I'm 63] I can see that "the best of times" were the 50s and 60's. Not particularly financially better, but the state had so much less interface and direct contact [control] with the citizens.
They are Treating you like Criminals , I think the same thing is going to happen here in the UK. they have already taken our Handguns off us. Great Video 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
The problem is our inability to have our constitution strong or acknowledged. To me its about controlling Good, law abiding & moral prudent people cannot freely have a sport or Defend ourselves against illegal firearms owned by criminals.
I'm a licensed gun owner in the Netherlands and your story (except for the buy back) has a lot of simularities to our situation. We are the most controlled group of people in the country, with random unannounced gun checks by police (no problem with thats, its the law) and a lot of other restictions on usage and storage, number of guns and quantity of ammo stocked. Even the route you take to the range can be a discussion point. Speeding or running a red light can mean you lose everything and still some of my friend feel it's rediculous I own guns. But if I ask them to join me and see that's it is not an agresive sport they refuse because it is "not done"
Thanks Mark. I feel as if the wall are closing in on us in W.A.. Record high immigration, not enough housing, access to natural areas being restricted. Pretty soon we will be locked in suburbia in front of our TV screens and not able to share those wild places with our kids. Most Aussies dont want a big Australia - the government is destroying our way of life. I will be voting independent - we all should!
The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe For the axe was smart and convinced the tree that because it's handle was made of wood he was one of them.
The minister seems to forget about the separation of powers doctrine. The last time that I saw a "buy back" promotion by police was a few years ago on a roadside VMB.
As a retired person I have a pension concession card. It seems New South Wales police are targeting those cardholders. What eventually seem to work was writing to my local state member of Parliament in an election year. Finally got my license in five days after fighting them for two years. Go figure🤷♂️

Firearms Ownership - One Nation supports responsible gun ownership and will preserve the current laws which allow law abiding citizens access to firearms, whether it be for work, farming or sports-related activities. We do not believe that further stringent measures or regulations are required regarding licensing. One Nation calls for stricter border security and tougher sentencing for gun crimes and traffickers.

🤔God know, doesn’t look good.
Its called communism. Look at the fed Labor government at work now!
Yes, look at knife crime, our society bans one type of edged weapon after another but then ignores the behaviour, eventually you won’t be allowed a kitchen knife or an axe or tomahawk or wood splitter because we blame the implement rather than the behaviour.
Smart approach mate. Hope us Aussies can shout this across all forms of control. No to taking our rights. Digital ID is a good example of madness.

Hallelujah Brother! Two party politics is BS!!
Agreed
100% ratchet theory
Compared to what? Show me a proportional representative country that you think works and I'll show you 100% more that don't.
I feel your pain mate - I've seen the change in our rights in the owning and use of firearms over the last 50+ years. In NSW I can't even use a simple slingshot without being in jeopardy of being branded a criminal. We live in a a controlled state - our criminal colony heritage has never left us.
Thanks Howard. Cheers
My Dad use to make sling shots for us kids a forked stick couple strips of rubber from a tyre tube. Everyone had a sling shot good for fine motor skills and aim.

I’ve never done it before, but I’m voting One Nation this time. I can’t see a time when I would ever go back to one of the major parties, they’re all the fucking same, criminal enterprises.

@@markandsamafterworkto have fundamental beneficial action before non compliance was required, would require a non corrupt government and public servant sector which doesn't exist within current reality anywhere on earth. They entire system is a scam. Voicing your opinion means nothing in the modern world, the employee public sector is superior to the tax paying employers who are the subordinates as is clearly shown everyday across the world with the action of governments. Democracy doesn't exist. Obeying and conforming and complying does absolutely nothing but continue to condone their actions and enables them to obtain more control and power. Its legitimately illogical to play their game as they created it for their benefit. If it truly worked as a system designed they way its supposed to be.... For the benefit of the people, the world and state of endless continuous struggle of the overwhelming majority of the human population for the past 3000+ years would have happened and wouldn't still be the theme at the forefront of "life"
need to get rid of preference votes.....
Agreed
That will just make it easier for the major parties to hold power, what we need is proportional representation in the lower houses of state and federal parliaments, like they have in Tasmania, it ensures that minor parties can take the balance of power once they reach a threshold of support.
Hare-Clarke system, go and look into it originally it was planned to implement it nationwide, but was stopped, I wonder why?.
State governments are out dated corrupt unsuitable incompetent and overpaid. The day we abolish state government will be a victory for the people of Australia we will save billions one government one gun licence one car licence one drivers licence again we will save billions and billions of taxpayers money

Not to mention the retrospective criminal charges for replacement of a driveway culvert in Toodyay, for which the land owner had all the Council approvals that were required.
