- I just upgraded my 2021 Audi RS5 Exhaust Sound with Weistec Stage 2 and CTS Downpipes and Air Intake. Exhaust sound is much better than the stock RS5, it really woke up the engine for sure.
The OEM Sport Exhaust was just not enough, I am still in the fence.....should I install a Aftermarket Exhaust? Milltek or AWE maybe? What do you guys think about the sound with the CTS Downpipes and Stage 2? Let me know....

Have you had any luck locating an exhaust (e.g. Miltek, AWE)? Was told by a local shop that the ones they see are for the B9s and wouldn't fit the B9.5s, which was surprising as I didn't think the refresh messed with anything under the car that would affect the fitment of an exhaust. I got a 2021 RS5 SB in Tango Red just like yours (with the black optic launch edition).
+1. Straight up, thanks for the exhaust note post. .. I'd save the money. .. That puppy sounds like the real deal - with a hint of understatement. .. Other RS5's w/2.9V6tt (Porsche motor) have an aftermarket-obnoxiously loud CAT-back system. .. A +2 tune with performance downpipes is nicely done! .. My $.02

What what the name for the downpipes you installed?
Did you have to modify the intake at all to make it fit? I found on my 2021 the CTS heatshield was hitting a pipe coming up from from the side cooler and thus wasn't able to fully snap into the mounts in the chassis. Also seemed like the inlet pipe was a bit too long.
I had Pacific German in OC install it. I dont think they had issues, they’ve done a lot of these for the rs5

So to answer your question the AWE Touring Resonated changed the tone so it sounds much deeper and amazing now. It wasn’t significantly louder. Did you think the downpipes added quite a bit of volume? I’m considering adding these to mine
Downpipes definitely made the Stock Sport exhaust louder and deeper sound. I am thinking of Milltek next.

No not at all. It is not exaggerated
It’ll throw a light that needs to be shut off with tuning software.
You need stage 2 after downpipes to get rid of lights I believe. I have no lights

@@fanyang93jy stage 2 remaps the ECU to give it more HP and Torque and also tunes the Transmission for better shifting. Yes it voids warranty
Nice ride my brother,just got the same car in Daytona grey pearl,put some forged Vossen evo5 wheels on it my Kline exhaust just came in,also 034 carbon intake ,changed the ABT auxiliary radiator for a Wagner intercooler water to air and a 034 93 octane tune

The downpipe picks up huge power the air intake isnt worth it. It doesnt change the geometry of the intake at all. Downpipe, tune, and catless exhaust is all you need to make this car insane

I'm an anti downpipe guy. Sorry. I got a catback exhaust and its perfect. My warranty is still intact.
I was thinking of going that route.
@@LifestyleByDesign_ Plus i keep the car long term. It depends here.. with stage 2 and downpipes its worth if you keep it short term 1-2 years maximum. But after a period of time problems/issues with the engine will come since the engine is forced more than the factory parameters. And here in Europe you can't pass a MOT/emission anual test if you have catless.
@@AudiRS5B9 well I mean that’s with any car but most people keep there modded stage 2 or 3 cars for a long time as testing has shown as long as you do the required maintenance your good you’ll of course have to do it more often but it’s worth it
