Yeah, I did think when I saw it. That is a lot for just a house fire. Then again, it mat be due to the fact it was a townhouse. Most likely to limit the spread if it got out of hand.
Please close the door next time. By leaving it open you gave any fire oxygen. I have to say how very terribly slow the firefighters were! Goodness me they dottled outside going on air all the while a different firefighter without air went in and out, in and out, in and out! 😳🙄 Then entry control stood in the smoke coming out of the door. Where was the backup firefighters ready to go on air should they be needed?
@@david-stewart I have been a firefighter for 24 years so please do not tell me they are the best firefighters in the world. They should have made entry in the very first min yet look how long it took them! So disgusting. Fires double every min
@Linda NWFirefighter 24 years.... wow, you are so special. The fire was contained to the kitchen, and was incredibly small. The crews took their time to start up and test out as the fire wasn't going anywhere fast and there were no lives at risk. The level of smoke was minimal and a backup crew were not needed. I'm guessing in 24 years you haven't been to many fire because of the way you have over reacted to this incredibly small blaze.
@@terrancedactielle5460 yes I saw their incredible snail like response to the fire in someone’s kitchen. It was sloppy and slow. It was disgusting. Just because they got lucky that the fire didn’t spread more quickly doesn’t mean they acted properly. They should have been in that door with a charged line in less than 1 min. It is that simple.
Good example of doing the right thing, don't enter, let the professionals deal with it.
And leave the door Open !
The prompt intervention of the firemen who limited the possible disaster was a lifesaver!
He done the right thing
4 pumps and an Aerial appliance and a house fire, really!!!
In my old brigade we were lucky to get 2 pumps.
Was just thinking that, over the top
I thought it was normal to send 2 fire engines to a house fire.

You were lucky you found out before it got bigger and that would only take a few more minutes
If it ever happens again and I pray it doesn't please close the door.
надо было за кофе еще сгонять
