I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

I have "AMS Boat" decals on my Corsair 7A. They said I could boat anything, so I boated AMS.

I always feel great when I've put together a mech and then I see Baradul running with basically the same build! Love it!
I remember playing one of the artic maps enemy team was mostly LRM builds and our team had alot of ams. I literally couldn't stop laughing as hundreds of missiles came at us and watched as they blew up against our invisible shield of ams. Was just a wall of fire missiles vs anti missiles. We dominate that game
I adore my 7A - got my first 1k match score game in it, when I was deciding if it was really worth the mechbay, and that cemented it for me. I've got dual LB-10s, dual ER-Larges, and dual Mediums with 4 tons of AMS ammo. Best missile amount I've shot down is 1562, and I've run dry on ammo much more often than I thought I would initially. She might be ugly, but she's *damn* effective.
this is exactly my most favorite loved mech. Especially when farming match score. My personal record in one match with this was around 1100 MATCHSCORE! Think were 7 kills and 2000 missiles shot down with a dmg of 1300...this thing is a beast. Constantly at least over 500 match score in every match...and its not even difficult
Man, that last match was crazy lopsided. I get it; some days you're the bug, the other days you're the windshield.

This is my favorite way to build a Corsair. There was a similar Barabuild that he did last year that I've been rocking ever since. It's gotta be frustrating for the enemy lurmboats

2nd match had 3 assaults, 6 heavies, 2 mediums, and 1 light vs 2 assaults, 1 heavy, 4 mediums, and 5 lights. One of those enemy assaults overextended early and died, while the other wasted his tonnage LRM-boating away from his team, not sharing armor, and got cut off by Baradul's lance & an ECM back-stab light. Though to be fair, the friendly direwhale went down early too.
Good stomp though. :)
My fav build for the 7A is 3x RAC-2, 2x PPC, LE 300, & 4x AMS. Little slower, and heat can be a pain to manage until you max operations, but being able to "alpha" with that much firepower at 600+ meters is pretty damn good.
It has overall range quirks + AMS range quirks

A very solid MS-farmer. The RAC ammo seems to be quite low. Have dropped the engine for more AMS ammo.. destroyed 1300+ missiles once. :D

At least RAC ammo has high potential damage per ton.
700 damage taken... That is Atlas level! Didn't think that these Mechs were that sturdy..
For a really trolly build, try quad laser ams, boat single heat sinks and add 4 small lasers and some light machine guns. You don't get much damage out, but on occasion you'll end up on Polar Highlands with assault mode, and on such an occasion might shoot down almost 2.000 missiles. It has been done, I had a great laugh ;)

I run mine with 2 ac10 4ermlas. you need a lot of facetime with racs which wouldnt spend in a corsair
I've tried a bunch of variants. I like 3 RAC 2, 3 AC 5 is solid, 2 Gauss Rifle is good, 2 Lt Gauss is ok. But the AC10 familiy is my favorite on this. UAC10s are my jam right now.

I run mine with 2 LL insteaad but that drops the speed to 48KPH.
I prefer the Pir-A with 4 laser AMS. yeah I have potential to die in 2 sec with getting overloaded with LRMS. but god damn is it fun

Man, I feel like the AMS systems anymore are like razors: first you had the Locust with two AMS systems, then the Kit Fox with three, and now the Corsair with four.

Eh, there's uglier. This one looks like someting that dropped it's arms, the Engineers said the arm area was beyond repair.
Then the team of the most crazy engineer bastards this side of Comstar dropped in with LAM drop and said " _Hold our beers, we got this._ "
Then once all said and done, they held down their hands and demanded 5m credits and left.

Hey, somebody else noticed Critical Rocket in the first game :)
This mech is so broken that it sucks the fun out of the game. When you can mount a hard counter to make you and your nearby teammates immune an entire class of weapons, it destroys what little balance is left.
Defending missileboats, little guy? The balance is not broken here. Wanna counter 4 ams - take 4 launchers - and preferably not ATMs, those are low on hp. Team up, focus fire, and everything is possible
Man, that mech is fugly.
That's the idea. It was literally cobbled together out of parts of other mechs.
