Hey Tim, my wife taught me that a seam ripper, which you can get at any place that sells sewing items, can easily replace the razor blade, allowing you to slip beneath serving material without risking cutting the bow string. I've been considering doing a youtube piece because it is one of the most valuable tools in my at home archery shop. Get one and you won't regret it. I will indeed tie my peeps in with this method. Thanks for the offering.

This style of peep tie also stopped my peep from rotating. Isaac Bedford learned this from Tim and showed me it 14:28 , but I didn't really learn it 100%. Thanks for this video!

I did that one recently just to try it and couldn't believe how much it moved. I will say it's a good way to temporarily do it so you can micro adjust it for whatever range you want to use. Shoot it a few times as you adjust it and then go and do this way to make it rock solid. Bowmar has a way that is very similar but a couple of different knots

they often give a peep sight with a rubber band. what's the difference in using one without a rubber band? I have one with an elastic band. is it easy to change them?

Tim, I have been doing this for a while through experimentation as well... but the material I have found that works best is "Coats Embroidery Thread" found in the sewing department at Walmart... it is very thin and strong. Thanks for the video.

amen to what Tim said RE the lockdown response. Several years on and I literally fist pumped when he said that. Here in Australia our simp sportsman were so pathetically on board they were more likely to make an advert for the government than utter a syllable against it, lest they loose a sponsorship deal or get cancelled. We literally never heard anything like that. That guy just rose 10 fold further for me.

It's really hard to make peep tying videos without having hands in the way. He did a much better job than most people who make these kind of tutorials.
