What’s amazing about this is that Clara is a “teen mother,” yet her maternal instincts are just incredibly strong. I was watching the video where another teen mother of exactly the same age (Dillah) rejected her baby (Delilah), despite all of the staff’s efforts to get her to bond with her newborn. One of the veterinarians said that she handed him the newborn with a passive gesture he interpreted as, “Here, take it,” as though it was an inanimate object she couldn’t use. Yet here, we see Clara’s really desperate yet restrained need to have her baby back! They are just as individual as humans are.
I have seen Clara make an appearance on some of my favorite you tubers orangutan sight seeing tours in the Sumatra jungle. She is very happy and her baby is with her. Both doing well AND ARE ENJOYING FREEDOM :)

This is absolutely a great news. I remembered a similar case happened at this rehabilitation place. A wild baby orangutan named as Luka was separated with mother due to arm injury. Sadly, the mother unable to produce milk once they return to their mother. Lone Dielsen have to separate the baby again and stimulate her mother for milk production. Not sure what happened next as they is no more video being shared. Hope BOS willing to share to public.

Three weeks ago this same video was out and they said that the baby was removed from the mother to treat a skin infection and now you are saying that the baby was taken by a curious male and is being returned?!? What is going on here??? Hoe am I to trust what you guys are doing there with conflicting stories??? Not happy here!
Both are true. The baby was taken by a male orangutan, but because of the skin condition they weren’t able to be reunited right away because they had to treat them first. After that then they brought the baby back to the mother. Does that make sense now?
I saw the same video, and now in this one they are telling us the skin condition was due to some tree sap in the forest. These groups are all a scam to try and get us to send money.
Thankfully the narrator was intrusive, startling and loudly overdramatic, because otherwise we could have watched and listened to the reuniting in gentle peace.

They need a better cage it is too small, they cannot climb or move around and the wire probably is not comfortable. :(
