For those curious, Thalassophobia, there are two methods of Game Over; run out of HP like any other song, or let Luigi drown by failing to collect coins for him. They both have the same game over animation where Boyfriend sort of just dies and does the Mario 64 deathscreen, and in the 2nd case I imagine he's soul-linked or something so would die if Luigi dies.
For Promotion, Abandoned, and The End, its basically a mario with no eyes slowing appearing on the screen, so i guess Mario dies if you lose these 3 rap battles
