😂 thank you! I’m so glad that my awful amigurumi-assembly doesn’t put you off. I’ve made 3 similar themed patterns by Hookanory. Her mini-monster Halloween CAL (in progress atm) has a similar shape too. Do you make many amigurumi?
I desperately want to get my wips down and I'm hoping that a lot of finishing my wips will come from my current stash. I think I'm at something like 20+ wips (mine are mostly larger garments) and I've given myself till the end of next year to hopefully get my wips down to 4-6. We all know that new projects are always popping up! 😂😂 Today I'm about to finish the body of a sweater and then start a sleeve. Your video is super motivating!! Thank you!! ❤
I’m so glad that you enjoyed it ☺️. You got this! I definitely recommend trying the snowball method if you lose motivation at any point. Good luck with your sweater 🍀. Do any of your projects have deadlines to spur you on? Eg are any birthday/holiday gifts?
@elimeedesigns yes thankfully this one is a test knit due in 3 weeks! Then I have 7 baby blankets I want done in the next month, they are going well and will probably be done by then. But then I'll have to start a few new ones for Christmas gifts, I want to make crochet gnomes as teacher gifts 🤣😅 but that will help with stash busting!
Great job of focusing on some WIPs and getting them done! I have a few WIPs that just need some finishing bits done, which I'm hoping to tackle during our Thanksgiving holiday break.
I think the snowflake pillow is really beautiful. And while rainbow-colors usually aren't my favorite, this little guy seems like fun. Good work on finishing up the easier projects first. Between knitting, crocheting and sewing/embroidery I have about 4 to 5 wips laying around. All of them more time-consuming projects like blankets and cardigans. I interject smaller projects like mittens or socks, so I don't get to fed up with the long term commitments. The fifth wip is an emroidered hussif, that I don't have a definitive design goal for. Technically it is finished as in functioning and in use, but I keep on adding elements to it as time goes by. We should probably not be too harsh on ourselves or others. It is okay to switch things up and leave an undesireable task laying around for a bit.
Thank you ☺️. I had to google what a hussif is, and they look amazing! A lot of my remaining WIPs are more time consuming too - I have a love of blankets. I haven’t stopped to count how many sewing/cross stitch WIPs I have 😂. I agree that we must try not to be too harsh on ourselves, but I do feel better now that my WIP count is slowly shrinking. Do you have a particular WIP that your are focusing on at present?
Well, I am aiming to get the cardigan done next. After all winter is coming, right? I am at home for another week with the flu, so I might just get that done. Well, there are absolutely stunning examples of hussifs online. Mine is nowhere near as fancy though. I am fairly new to embroidery and so I focus more on "creativity" than accuracy. Which shows. 😂 Which kind of yarn do you prefer for blankets and such? I tend to use ones with at least 50 percent woolish fibre or pure cotton. I know acrylic has its benefits though.
I kinda like the little wierd creature. Its cute

Wow, loads of blankets too (my favourite kind of project 😁). I hope that finishing each of your projects brings you joy.

Thank you, and well done for setting yourself a goal - I find that it helps ☺️.

At the moment I lean towards acrylic a lot - my kids use the blankets and they need washing often 😬.
Good luck with your cardigan 🍀.
