The map for don't make a sound looks like the settings for the Tremor movie. You can see the little village and the bunker from that movie. Its also a big wormy monster coming up from the ground.
"Wasn't sold on this box until i heard the words..." what words would change an opinion so drastically..."sand worms" ooooooh @#$k TREMORS!!! Amazingly exciting 🙌
Not sure if the preview videos later answered it, but I noticed the Falconwood Files box has 25 terror cards rather than the usual 24 (16 for the killer, 8 for the location). Wonder what the extra terror card is for.
THE VIGNETTE IS ABOUT FINAL DESTINATION, ONE OF MY FAVORITE HORROR FRANCHISES OF ALL TIME!!! I was gonna hold out on series 3 for a while, since I haven't even managed to save enough money to buy series 2 yet... But I will get that Vignette as soon as it hits retail! (Side note: I always miss the kickstarers... I wish they were longer, I was really busy these last two months, and didn't notice series 3 was even announced until now)
The tormenter trap cards probably work similar to a final girl card.. maybe once they’ve killed 6 the trap card is flipped and upgrades., or breaks because of all the bodies and is discarded 🤔
Thanks for the review. I did a late pledge for this and got the robot film .This game wasn’t in my radar until I saw a play through. It made get the core box and organism film, but I’ll definitely the vignette for this one as well .
Not on board with your action card theories. I think building trust would make more sense with the savior rather than the killer machine. And problem solving might be needed to solve the puzzle box. Maybe a way to open the gate to the Hellscape.

100% Tremors inspired! I think that fits the "lighter" hearted vibe of the feature film.
@@boardgameapprentice And the desert settlement in Tremors is called Perfection, which Utopia clearly calls back to.

Yes!! I am slightly bummed Tremors didn't get it's own box but this is still awesome :)
I think the vignette is most likely based on the final destination movie franchise. With grim reaper/death as killer.
Yes!! I saw it was announced yesterday. I would never have guessed; excited about how different and abstract it is.

Good question! I know the offical Van Ryder page did a play through but I've avoided watching since I like 1st play to be blind.
@@boardgameapprentice Fingers crossed the fulfilment will arrive soon!

Hope you're able to get the vignette! I love Final Destination too, hopefully we get a new one soon 🙏
@@boardgameapprentice Apparently a new movie is in the works. But they have been saying that for a few years, so I'm not sure.

I like this thought! Can't wait till we have final scenario rules
Love how they use the D20 D&D die for Stranger Things. Such a nice little Easter egg.

You're welcome! Hope you enjoy the game! The new vignette looks very interesting
Just backed the pledge, thanks for the thorough video!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! :)
Thank you for watching!
Subbed. I agree with you on everything except... Although Terminator 2 is a great film, Terminator 1 is an excellent film. :)
Thanks for the sub! I will say that T1 is the better horror/thriller 😉
Great vid! You got an subscriber!!
Thank you for watching & the sub!

I hope so! Opening the box would be an awesome Hellraiser homage.
