The time lapse was like watching a plant ballet.

Terry, what a treat, another terrific movie.
Those hops grow so fast, you almost don't neet a timelapse to see it.

Thanks. Those things are crazy. I always amazed as to how fast they grow. Thanks for the kind words. 😀

Very nice video! The time lapse is amazing! This year, I started to grow hops in city environment, on my (small) terrace. They're growing fast and wonderful. It works as a natural shadow screen against the very hot summers here in the city, as an ecological alternative for airco systems, that make cities even hotter. I put about 20 rhizomes and 3 crowns in pots, installed a watering system that uses rain water so that I can even go on holiday without having to water them daily 🙂I was advised to cut the early bull shoots, but I couldn't, maybe next year I will 🙂

I understand about cutting. Years ago. I was told to cut off the lower 2 feet of leaves. I just couldn't do it. I did cut new shoots to increase airflow and avoid power mildew. Works pretty good.
I bet they look cool on your terrace. I'm glad to see people grow them as ornamental because they are a neat vine.
      Thanks for watching.

That was really cool. In Georgia we have Kudzu. If you stand still for a minute it will grow over you😂.

I was thinking I wish I had Kudzu up here then I did the research. Now I'm glad we don't have it up here. (As far as I know) That's Crazy how fast it grows!
